Tsukasa of Tokyo is a classic! I've been coming here since I was young, & it never disappoints. Hibachi is always such a fun experience, & the energy here is amazing--lively, interactive, & perfect for any occasion. The fried rice is a standout every time, & everything is cooked to perfection right in front of you. The chefs & staff keep the experience engaging, & the food is always fresh & flavorful. Such a great spot for a fun night out!

I've been going to tsukasa for many years, like def over a decade. It's one of my favorite restaurants of all time. No other teppan joints do it like Tsukasa does. The food is on point and amazing every single time without fail. First and most importantly, you must make a rez, don't just willy nilly walk in, this restaurant is packed every night, esp weekends. Call them to make the rez and you won't be sorry! I always get the combination w filet and golden shrimp, for my combo side, I get extra golden shrimp, but tempura is also tasty, I just loooove my golden shrimp. The combo dinners come w delicious mushroom soup and ginger salad. I got a Singapore sling for my cocktail and it was great. Oh second most important tip is to always get the fried rice. Their fried rice is the best fried rice EVER. They use soy sauce and teriyaki in the fried rice and it is bomb every time. The filet is always so tender and juicy. I also ask for all 3 sauces, a hot mustard, ginger, and teriyaki sauce- to dip all my veggies and meat into. Third tip is to put some of that golden sauce on the fried rice! Soooooo good!!! We get ice cream at the end of the meal, I always get rainbow sherbet and it rules. Service is always great, there's ample parking in their huge lot. Your clothes and hair will smell a bit since you're in a huge room full of chefs cooking up yummy meals so just be prepared for that. Tsukasa will always be one of my favorite restaurants, so so good!

Recently went to the 35th anniversary party and had a blast! It goes without saying that the food is excellent... you don't stay in business this long if it's not. But this spot has been a staple in my life and outside of great food and great staff... they have done an amazing job building a community out of their regulars. It was really cool to see so many old friends, and then their kids in here a couple of weeks ago celebrating 35 years together. The owners have done something special.

I've been to Tsukasa a few times, each time I have a great experience with the hibachi. If you are planning on going it's always recommended to make reservations so you know for sure you can get a spot. They do limited walk in for the hibachi experience and it depends on the size of your group. We were seated right awayband our server took our drink orders and then our food order. She came back swiftly with our apps and then the main chef came over and put on a fantastic show. He was engaging with us the whole time and it was just so wonderful. The food is amazing loved everything we got. Definitely would recommend for anyone that loves hibachi.

Second time trying to place an order for pick up and spoke with the same rude person named Ken! Last time we tried to order we were told there was a special event and this time it was that the kitchen was too busy. I asked him what days they are available for pick up orders. He didn't have an answer. Then I asked is it safe to assume you don't accept orders for pick up on the weekend. His response - SURE! Try being a little more respectful to customers that want to support your business.

Great fun, generous portions and perfect for family celebrations! The scallops were just okay, but the steak and chicken were both delicious.

Kind of blah. First time here. We had table service. Food wasn't hot. It was bland. Veggies were limp and had a strange flavor. Service left a lot to be desired-waiter wasn't rude, per se, but not someone who made me feel comfortable or excited about the experience. For the price point, I was surprised that we had to sit in a booth with a torn seat. It wasn't a horrible experience, but I don't think I would recommend or return. There were tons of people there though, so it does appeal to someone.
