My friends and I went for happy hour! The atmosphere is definitely a vibe. The music is UNMATCHED, and the happy hour prices are unbeatable. I had the jerk platter to go and it was amazing. wings are cooked to a perfect crisp. (The food took a bit longer to come out but I promise you it is worth the wait!) (Veggie options and non alcoholic options as well!)

Never been to a more fake Jamaican place ever than here. Females that work at the bar is very disrespectful they all drink on the job and then get confused with your order. That jerk chicken is not good take 1hr for me to receive my order and they came out very burnt. Whoever owned this place is hiring a bunch of kids and this place won't be here too long. They play trap music instead of Jamaican music if I wanted to listen trap or hip hop I'll go to brown stone. The food there in general is nasty and they take forever to get your order and it comes out cold most the time. I'll not recommend anyone that want Jamaica food or vibes to go here. Don't waste your time or money with these people. Horrible management

I've been here a few times now and I love it! It's a newer bar, recently opening on Water St. just a block away from the Milwaukee Public Market. Parking can be tough due to the location but I usually end up parking in the parking garage across the street for like $8. The drinks are amazing! I love that they have frozen cocktails in addition to their full bar. Try the margarita tower! They also offer Jamaican themed appetizers and hookah. I've had the Jerk wings, the pizza, and the brown stew meatballs. Everything I had was yummy! Get a couple things if you're really hungry because these are "bar bites" not full portions. Most of the servers/bartenders are so sweet and fun! Most of the times I've been they also have a live DJ and the music is always lit.

Very cute atmosphere. The drinks are amazing. Ask for an extra shot though. I would rate the food but ours never came. 45 minutes later I asked our waitress where our food is and she said she'd go check. Well FINALLY damn. She comes back and says the kitchen never got the order. If our waitress wasn't hugging and kissing all on her boyfriend, eating her Panera, and taking pictures of the drinks she was making...maybe she would've noticed we didn't have food. But she was nicely fed. Oh her name is Diamond. To the owners of this establishment...don't let these kids you hired ruin your business. This place has potential to be great. But I'll NEVER come back.

Idk what these reviews are because my experience was AMAZING!! I went to tropic a few times last year but when I went recently was the best. They got better tables and the decor is beautiful. Wayyy better than the past. Our server was great and we later found out she was the manger!! It just shows how much she cares. My mother who was visiting hasn't stopped talking abt it since. We got shots, content, and filled to the top drinks. It's a little pricey but we felt it was worth it. Overall definitely going back, new favorite spot, and I appreciate

This spot is cute. The food is decent overall. The drinks were good. Service was unremarkable-- like not terrible but nothing to write home about. Felt the same about the music.. This spot has potential for sure. I'll be back to see if another night is more lively.

This could be an amazing venue-the vibe is unique HOWEVER, please stop allowing children with no home training to chose your music. I didn't come to a Jamaican establishment to listen to ratchet music. Furthermore, what kind of security guard is drinking and sagging harder than some school age kids...unruly employees will ruin you and your establishment!! Be aware of your surroundings and who your clientele is I do have to add that our bartender was great. She was sweet, charming and helpful when suggesting drinks.
