I love so much. Great selection of beer, wine, and all the spirts you can imagine and then some. If you are a beer connoisseur ask about what are the "speciasl" or "rare" beers they have for the sign up and write your name on the list. This prevents the "truck chasers," assholes that follow beer trucks and clean up on rare releases and sell them for an inflated price or horde them, from letting the rest of the population enjoy the hard to find brews.They will randomly pick winners, call you, and you can get there and purchase your prized brew. The staff are fun, very knowledge, and always in great spirits. They have tastings regularly for some of the products they sell. Spop in next door for the freshes beer in the land.The owner kids better attend a fine higher learning establishment because at this point have have paid for at least few semesters.

Hard to write this review after patronizing Star just a week prior. The employees at Trixie's seem more stand off ish, clientele is also very... different.As far as selection, I was sad that they didn't carry the Half Acre Double Daisy Cutter when it was released. But I do like that they have a good munchies section in addition to a vast wine and champagne selection.Of course I'll be back because they still carried many micros and Growler's To Go-go is next door.Pro Tip: check their facebook page for daily free tastings!

This rating is based on their service. Came in to pick up a gift certificate. I called in advance to confirm they did do gift certificates. When I arrived, the only person currently working was new and didn't know how to do it, which is understandable. After waiting 5 minutes or so for the other employee, he comes out and says he can't help me because he needs to cover for another employee who went to get food. When I asked how long the wait would be, he didn't know. I wasn't just going to stand there and wait, so I left empty handed. Why the 2nd employee couldn't take 30 seconds to ring me up is beyond me. Very frustrating!

This is by far my favorote Liqour store in Madison, WI. They carry such an awesome selection of craft beers and hard to find items. If for any reason they don't have it all you have to do is ask and they will try to get it for you. Prices are always right.... Service is always friendly.... They are always recieving the newest trending items. They even allow you to call and reserve your items. They will put it in the cooler with your name on it so you make sure to get it. Again I personally can't say anything bad about the place. It will continue to be my go to for all my alcohol needs. Plus they have an amazing place next door called Growlers To Go-Go... Awesome rare taps that can be purchased and put into Growlers or Crowlers to take home and enjoy. Or you can belly up to the bar and enjoy what they have to offer. If you have never been here yet I highly reccomend it.

Best liquor store in the Madison area. Amazing selection-they may not have everything you want but the service makes up for that.

Not the absolute hugest selection but they definitely have some well chosen and unique (!!!) finds in the craft beer realm. The store is neat and well lit, easy browsing. They have a very small snack section with some cheap random off-brand sour cream and onion potato chips that are to die for. Plus I was surprised to see one of my favorite and most entertaining local bartenders working behind the register. Madison is such a small town sometimes!

Not a huge place, but really good selection of craft beers. I like that they are sorted by style. Some brews that you just don't see anywhere else around. I would definitely recommend for a craft beer drinker.

Great craft beer selection and friendly staff. I bought a number of singles here and the guy was nice enough to throw in ice to keep it cold on the trip home to Mpls. Also, cool artwork for their logo. Worth the stop!

They have a really nice or wide variety of different liquors. If you are looking for something in particular they will order it in for you. They also have a wide selection of beers. I recommend them.

Always a good place to stop for craft beer--lots of selections. (Also, wine and liquor). Staff knows their stuff. Also, attached is a tap room where you can have a cold one and sample beers you might not see elsewhere.
