Triangle Market is a convenience store, conveniently located in my walking path and usually most noticeable when I've forgotten something essential like water or a much needed diet coke and I do not want to go out of my way. A bottle of soda is like $1.75, which, by my Chicago standards is pretty normal. Water is also priced normal. I've never had bad service. I walk up to the counter with my merchandise, pay, get change and leave. What I like best is the map and store rules. I am actually a fan of maps. I think our spatial capabilities suffer just a little bit every time we use google maps to tell us how to navigate while never actually looking at the map and where we are going. In any case, the fine cartography makes navigating 1,000 sq feet much easier. Plus if I were at all uncertain about opinionated whining or paying in large sums of change, I could easily look at the back of the map and realize that these things are not acceptable by the Clerk.

As long as I've been in Madison, this main-stay market, one of the oldest on State street. It's antiquated location, unable to hold more than 10 people at one time, is cozy, a mesh of both the modern and old. Products inside are some of the most reasonable on State street

Needed stamps in a bind. One of the younger clerks was able to help. After that, I encountered the owner (or someone related to him) who couldn't understand what I was asking for, or at least claimed not to understand. You can figure out how to get the homeless guy his specific scratch tickets and pick out brands of vape carts, but you don't know what stamps are? SERIOUSLY?

Well it's a convenient store that happens to be convenient. There are no slurpee machines or whatnot but they have a fair amount of bottled drinks and basic items and the gentlemen that work there are usually pretty nice. Oh and don't forget you can get a free tour of the store!Edit: I should point out that I usually go in, grab a juice, pay and leave so somehow I completely missed the fact they DO have a slurpee/slushee machine as well as coffee. It's possible it was added after my review or I'm just not very observant.

This place is very convenient, if you're staying at the Madison Concourse Hotel, it's just around the corner and down the block. It's also hilarious, they have a sign advertising tours, and a tourist brochure with a map (points off for spelling, bananas, incorrectly), for a place that is about the size of the Madison Concourse hotel rooms (not the luxury suites, the regular rooms), only it's triangle shaped (maybe that's obvious). I don't think the employees have bad attitudes, I think it's an affectation, they're being ironic. Well I didn't spend that much time in there, but I did go back, it's pretty convenient.

It's a convenience store, you get what you get. Prices are a little higher than they should be, but I go there because its historic. My mom has an old bean pot from this place back when phone numbers were 3 digits long... Will have to post a picture later because that is kinda cool! Otherwise, you get what you're getting. They sometimes look at you weird but they're on state street so a lot of weird shit happens and now they expect everyone to do something. Won't stop coming here, but it's just a convenience store.

I always skip this place and head towards Walgreens or the Stop and Shop. The employees stare at you like you're inconveniencing them just for walking in, cigarette prices are jacked up by a ridiculous margin, and they stock nothing aside from junk food and stale bread.

The few times I've stopped in there, we were able to find what we need quickly. While it is a bit small, it is a nice place to grab a drink and snack quickly. I'm sure if we lived downtown it would be a good place to grad the necessitites when it's snowing or a cold winter day.
