I was sticker SHOCKED by a dinner totaling $27. Believe me it was a normal size to go container.Like one dinner is $27, in a typical to go container.The food was mid. Was mad the whole weekend. Be prepared for $5+ cupcakes. The cupcakes were amazing but again small for over $5.It is very hard to find a decent soul food place in Milwaukee.

I almost missed trying this place because of some 10+ year old reviews, so be aware of that when assessing this business. I was incredibly impressed with a caramel cake I purchased. It was truly wa sone of, if not the best, caramel cakes I've ever had. I am very critical of baked good because I am a baker myself. She does a masterful job of developing and balancing flavors without her desserts being overly sweet. The texture of her caramel is silky and the flavor was decadent. The cake was the perfect balance of the appropriate moisture and density, especially for caramel cake. I had no issue with my customer service. The prices were more than I was expecting but when I tasted her cake I understood how they are justified. I am eager to try more of her treats. Kudos!

We always get our holiday desserts from here. The Carmel cake is so delicious and always a hit and we do the sweet potato pie too. You can order ahead and pick up the dessert a couple of days before. When it's not the holidays I love to get the cupcakes which are more like mini cakes because they are bigger than a normal bakery cupcake. They are really tasty and moist and come in different flavors. If you're looking to support a local business and love yummy baked goods, you should try this place.

I was able to enjoy one of the best cupcakes I have ever had the pleasure of eating today because I made a random stop into Nordstrom's. I was having a pretty rough day and Bernadette and her moist, decadent treats saved my afternoon. I was lucky enough to run into her pop up display at Mayfair Mall, but her location is at 7934 W Burleigh Street! I always look for a local bakery when I need to bring a dessert to a party and Bernadette is now on the top of my list. I inhaled my Red Velvet cupcake so fast I wasn't able to snap a photo, but I was able to capture the deliciousness of my sister cupcake (German Chocolate). If you're looking for some baked goods to bring to your next birthday party, or simply need a sugar pick up to brighten your day, I highly recommend you check this place out! 10/10 from me!

This place is a JEWEL! The red velvet cupcakes are delicious and the Turtle cupcakes are amazing! This is the only place that my family purchases caramel cakes from.

The red velvet and Carmel cupcakes are so delicious. Honestly I have not been able to find a suitable red velvet substitute. I would give the establishment 5 stars, but I have a hard time paying $4.00 for a cupcake.

For some reason I've been on a real Cupcake kick lately. I think I've watched too many episodes of Cupcake Wars while I've been on vacation.I stopped by this small shop this morning and was very impressed. I was tempted by the Miniature Pecan Pie and other treats, I decided on The German Chocolate Cupcake. Moist Chocolate Cake covered by the Classic Coconut, Caramel and Pecan Frosting. The price is a little steep, but it was a very high quality Cupcake. The store is very Wheelchair friendly.

Around Christmas, I bought a sweet potato pie from this place, and every aspect of the experience was great. The ambiance and look of the store is adorable, and the man working there was more helpful than I could have imagined and very gracious. When I got home and shared the pie with my family, everyone raved about it; it was amazing and tasted like it was made from scratch.I really hope this business does well! Next time I'm at Mayfair I am going to be stopping here again for a new treat!

I heard about this place on Fox 6 around the holidays last year. Its located in Mayfair Mall in the corridor by Alterra Coffee stand. They carry pies, cookies, cupcakes, cake-caramel cake Yummy. I tried their chocolate chip cookies-Anyone who knows me knows that am a chocolate fiend. It's locally owned, So support!!!!!!

Absolutely everything is delicious. You won't find better desserts anywhere!!!! However the hours are inconsistent, customer service woman is rather slow at the front. Always have to ring a bell to get in. Prices are very high for dinner plates. A regular restaurant is cheaper.
