We had a 70th birthday party at diCarlo's for a dear friend. Owner Frank was very accommodating of our needs, was very warm and welcoming that evening and gave us very fair deal on pricing. The food and drinks were awesome and our waitress Toni was fabulous. We highly recommend diCarlo's for hosting your party!!!!NOTE: I posted a review on this business 10 yrs ago, but that was under previous management. It has improved greatly since that time.

Everything started out well. It was about 5:15 when we were seated, so early for us to eat dinner, but as a bonus the restaurant was not busy at all. Except for the bar, more people were in the bar than were seated for dinner. Our waitress brought our drinks right away, then took our order. It was all well timed - appetizer, salad, then entrees. That's where it went sour. It was 6 when our waitress brought out the entrees and I asked for a refill on water. She said she'd be right back and then we never saw her again. I kept watching, to flag her down, but she never walked past the dining room. My husband and I both finished eating, had our plates cleared by someone else, and another person brought me a small box when I asked. At 6:30 we had already been done and waiting for our check. I had to find someone at the bar to fetch our waitress because, at that point, we had been waiting 15 minutes and I just wanted to leave. The waitress tried to tell us that she walked past several times and saw we were eating, but I said if that were true I'd have asked her for the glass of water that she never brought. Thanks for gaslighting me I guess. I hope she learns from this experience.Poor service aside, the food was ok. Nothing amazing and definitely not up to par with the old menu. Prices were about 30% over what I had expected and definitely didn't feel the value supported the quality.Maybe it was just a bad night, but it was enough to make me re-think ever going back to what was once my favorite restaurant.

Used to come to this place when it was a liquor store, smaller, back in the 70/80's. I remember the owner saying I was not old enough to buy beer when I turned 18 in 1981, as I always came in to buy candy. One day a sugaraholic, the next day an alcoholic, Wisconsin tradition! So I had patronized the old DiCarlos before it closed. It was good. I don't go out to eat much but sometimes I do not want to make certain foods at home for one guy, enchiladas, pizza and lasagna are two things I go out to eat.So we all get the Clipper magazine with the food coupons. I wanted lasagna and true to being a Wisconsinite, alcoholic n thrifty, I purchased a $15 for $30 coupon to give it a try. This is not a place that often uses Clipper. Cant say I ever saw one before. But if ya is gonna offer it I am gonna use it.Nice ambiance and the server was friendly, it did not appear anything had changed but it had been 5+ years since I was there. Ordered a $10 Brandy Old Fashion (it is real hard to put out $10 for a cocktail but I have seen them $12 and up. I will never pay $12 for a drink, tough to pay $8) I probly should have called the Brandy. It was not well made n had a funky flavor. I ordered lasagna with the minastroni soup. The soup was VERY VERY GOOD, appeared top be homemade, DELICIOUS! Lasagna not so much, strange flavor which was probly the sauce. Small portion too, in my opinion. OK so here is where they really lost me. To use the coupon, I guess it requires a minimum $30 purchase. My bill came to $29.95. I was told I needed to spend $30. I looked at the server and said "seriously 5 cents? Well I will never be back." Not her fault. She asked if I would like to talk with somebody and I said no, just give me another bowl of soup as it was very good. I would have had another drink buy I already explained that $10 bomb.If ya want good lasagna with a great sauce go to Marsel's Italian Restaurant (owned by Albanians) on Howell Ave just north of Bolivar, the old Dino's. Large portion with great sauce. For 5 cents ya lost me dude. I wanted to try the pizzas and other items on the menu without a coupon. Time for a NED'S Pizza!

A popular spot in Oak Creek for good reason! We made a last minute reservation on Valentine's Day, and thank goodness we did because it was BUSY. We were greeted by a lovely gal named Anna who checked us in for our reservation. We were seated only a few minutes after our reservation time. We were visited by our waitress to order drinks. Shortly after we ordered our dinner. I opted for the Rotolo Primavera-handmade tomato & spinach pasta filled ricotta, topped with red & white sauce. It was delicious! I wish all of their pasta was homemade! All dinners come with soup or salad & garlic bread. We were very full but decided to splurge on a delicious slice of tiramisu. Is it the best Italian food you'll ever have? No, but the ambiance, plentiful parking, & excellent service will keep me coming back!

My family used to often come to trattoria di Carlo and I was so sad to see they had closed after the pandemic. They've reopened again thankfully and although the menu is a little smaller than I remembered, the food was very good and we enjoyed our mealI had the chicken Parmigiana. The chicken was cooked perfectly and delicious. Enough for 2 meals.

Stopped in here for a quick bite in the midst of a crazy storm. Sat at the bar and lovely service. Ordered the arancini and cup of minestrone soup. Soup was so hearty w vegetables that had a great bite to them and not too mushy. Arancini was DREAMY. 10/10

Yummy! I'm happy di Carlo has opened again, as we moved to Oak Creek just around the time it had closed and never got to try it. This place makes for a nice night out with family or a perfect date night, as the lighting, seating and decor is so romantic. Servers were very kind. I would have liked to have seen the food have a little more flavor, but it was good nonetheless. Excited to come back to try their pizza!

Ordered takeout last night ! Got the Oak creek special pizza. Was delicious!! Ordered garlic bread with a side of red sauce. Was buttery and had good flavor. We got as an appetizer the rice balls. Was not my favorite. Was cold in the inside. I probably wouldn't order that again. But loved the pizza! Great thin crust!

Food was hot on arrival (to go) but overall, taste was bland. Calamari did not have much flavor, smelled greasy. Garlic bread had no garlic flavor or smell. Pasta with meat sauce had no flavor besides tomato. Lacks depth overall. But is a big portion!
