Your standard sad-looking liquor store. It has a good selection of beer and wine. And as you would expect, it features a cashier who seems very sad about his life choice to become a cashier at a random Milwaukee liquor store. There's nothing outstanding about Tosa Liquor, but you could do worse in your booze quest.

It's a liquor store, and close to home. Definitely nothing special except they are open every day so if you are on your way to a family event on a holiday and need a little something to help you (and who doesn't?) TL will be open.Selection isn't great - just the basics for beer and liquor and pretty low end on the wine front. Prices are average, not great. Pretty much a store you'll stop in for convenience only.I will say the guys who run the place are super nice which is a real plus. If you've got nothing to do, stop by Tosa Liquor at 8:45om on any given night for some great people watching. It's like Walmart on the day after Thanksgiving.

The Gents that work here are top notch. I've been in the neighborhood for almost ten years now. The only locals who know how much of a drinking problem I have are these guys who sell me my beer and the garbage men who haul away the empties. For a corner liquor store, this place is solid. Unable to compete with Ray's down the street in the wine department, Tosa Liquor holds its own in the beer department. This have always been my local "grab and go" spot for a quick twelver or a case of Lite before a tail gate. Lately, I have been noticing that it is becoming a viable micro-brew destination. Clearly catering to the Tosa crowd. Catering also to the "east of 60th street" crowd, they carry a wide selection of cheap wines and boozes as well as the appropriately fitting brown paper bags in which to drink them. They also have one of the most impressive selection of hobo bottles (1/5L)Their 40 Oz selection is worth noting. Although, I've been wondering why they also have a candle section, seem out of place. Need a nice bottle of Cremant to impress your special lady friend? Nope, not gonna find it here. Need a 1/5th of Gordon's Gin or a bottle of NightTrain to get through Thanksgiving with the inlaws? Check..

I recently moved to Enderis Park, just several blocks north of the store, and was very pleasantly surprised by the great selection and fair prices. They have an excellent beer selection and a surprising selection overall for a modest sized store.

This store is overpriced, I paid $4 more for my 12 pack of seltzer than I would have elsewhere. I wanted to support local but won't going back due to pricing.

The owners are gems......honest, friendly, and hard-working. If they don't have an item, they will make every effort to get it for you. The store is always busy, for good reason. They have earned my business!

Nice selection of beers and liquor and convenient but watch out for these guys. They WILL try to overcharge you if they don't know you. It has happened to me multiple times before they knew me and most recently to friends of mine Monday night. They tried charging almost $10 more for two six packs. They actually got away with it until my friend realized he paid to much and went back in. They act like it was an honest mistake but this has happened to a lot of people I know. None of their six packs / cases of beer have price tags on them so once you leave the cooler, make sure you know what the price is. They WILL try to overcharge you. Beware.
