My husband and I spent an entire summer exploring as many regional farmers markets as we could and determined Tosa Farmers Market to be our favorite in the area. It's heavy on charm (nestled near the Tosa Village and bordered by lush green trees) and has all we're looking for in a farmers market. True, they don't have several venders selling, flowers, say. But, here are 2-3, which is plenty for me. There's usually options for various produce, flower venders, baked goods (usually a vegan baker as well), cheese, dip, meats, coffee, popcorn, etc. On our last trip, we got a gorgeous bouquet of peonies, king oyster mushrooms, a bag of greens, and two containers of greek almond dip (garlic and dill). We also discovered there was a new vendor there serving breakfast sandwiches. We had already eaten but are now already looking forward to next weekend to give them a try. They also usually have some sort of live entertainment to enjoy while you wander.A gem of a farmers market in the midst of a gem of a community.Get to it!

The Tosa Farmers Market is a great market to check out just outside of the city. It is located directly next to the downtown Wauwatosa area. The farmers market had a mix of vendors selling cheese, baked items, soups, flowers, popcorn, product, and more! There was a good amount of room for the main walkways and vendors were grouped into about 2-3 areas. They had live music entertainment which was a nice touch. They also had a larger parking lot across the street (along the river and train tracks). I would say there was a total of about 30 vendors present when I attended.

We went to the tosa farmers market on Saturday right after they open, this is a adorable farmers market. There was a lot of people there when we went, around 8:30am. It wasn't a huge market, but the quality of the vendors made up for the size. We got the most delicious sourdough bread from "peace & Love sourdough" and such a beautiful bouquet of flowers for only $20!!!! The vibes of this market were so good, will definitely be coming back to this farmers market!

Love this market, a five-minute walk from our home in Tosa. Really a kind of family-outing place with adults with their new-borns in strollers (today, e.g., a couple with 10-week-old boy/girl twins) catching breakfast (not great selections) and nibbles of sausages and cheeses. Prices are a little higher than local groceries, but you're supporting local growers. The floral bouquets from the Vangs, the cheeses from Decatur and the mushrooms from Mike are among the best anywhere. Add to that, the first Saturday of the month has an accompanying craft fair with interesting creations.

Enjoy coming to the tosa farmers market Saturday mornings in the summer! Easy to pick up some produce for the week. I can usually find parking pretty close by, but if you're walking, it's extremely walkable as well. I wish there were more food options, but there only seem to be 1-2 warm food options to check out each Saturday.

Love love love the Tosa farmers market, wonderful way to start the weekend. The kids get the waffles every time I like the empanadas, we try to try something new each week. Great prices on the veggies. The flowers are gorgeous, tip they don't last that long though sadly.

I love this farmer's market the most! It's small enough that you can do a few laps easily and you come to know the vendors well. The vegetable selection is great this time of year and the vendors are super nice and personable. I miss the live music and samples but hopefully that will be back next year. The fresh coffee and breakfast options are great, too.Go and support our local farmers! They work hard and you can tell by the quality of their produce and products!!

Cute market in Wauwatosa! We were visiting for the weekend and decided to check it out and we're not disappointed. We stocked up on cheeses from Decatur dairy and local produce. There were also a couple of great food vendors with breakfast and dessert items. The artisan market is every first Saturday of the month, with lots of jewelry, handmade items, and plants.

I like the Tosa Farmer's Market for veggies, chard, kale, herbs, and in great quantity from many vendors. I also love seeing Valentine Coffee so I can pick up some whole beans for my home coffee routine, while getting a complimentary 12 oz. cuppa joe. Other things are here like your Waffle Cart and a few breakfast item vendors. This Market has potential to grow, but in 2020, they are definitely doing things right.

I last went to the Tosa Farmers Market on the final Market of the 2020 season and, while small, really enjoyed the offerings--from fresh veggies and baked goods to soaps, honey, and delicious Valentine coffee! One thing that really stood out to me was the difference of how Tosa sets up their Market amidst COVID versus some of the others in the surrounding areas. It's very relieving to see and a calm experience when standards, precautions and measures (Masks required, one way traffic patterns, etc.) are taken amidst the pandemic. Cheers to Tosa, the vendors, and fellow shoppers.
