We held a 16-person bridal shower at their location by the grocery store in East Troy and the space was beautifully decorated. It felt like I walked into a room that was sponsored by Pinterest (and done right). We had a meat/cheese platter for snacks, then enjoyed a sit-down lunch that included a salad with the best dressing I have had in a long time and a slider/chicken salad sandwich combo entree. The desserts were to die for, including a raspberry cream cheesecake, a pastry puff filled with cream and fruit, and a whiskey-infused chocolate cupcake. The serving staff and chef were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend using their services if you have a party you would like to host.

It's a difficult thing to plan a baby shower during COVID. Thank god for toothpicks catering. They wrapped everything separately and it was delicious. We got a lot of complements on the food. I would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.

I can't rave enough about Sarah and Toothpicks Catering. We hired them for our wedding at the Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva, WI on 12/15/18. We went with a buffet style and the food was outstanding (and hot!). The beef tenderloin sliders were a huge hit, along with the chicken and waffles. My only regret is that I wish we would have ordered more cheese for the cheeseboard because our guests annihilated it within what felt like minutes - Wisconsin cheese is no joke! Sadly we barely ate due to nerves (hear this is how it usually goes) but what we did we loved and most importantly our guests were full of delicious food and compliments about it. The cherry on top of this sundae is that Sarah is amazing to work with. She is warm and professional, we simply like her as a person. What more can you ask for??

Decided to try their Friday Night fish fry in hopes of finally finding a decent fish fry in the Waterford area. To start, they use real perch filets which is great. What they did to them is beyond me. Mushy with virtually no taste. Anybody can go to Ewigs in Port Washington and buy perch fillets, stop at any Walmart or Menards and pickup a box of Shore Lunch and blow this fish fry away. I just don't see why it is so difficult to fry fish.My baked potato was perfect but delivered luke warm, would not melt the butter placed on it. Sides for two people were a half cup of applesauce, same amount of coleslaw and two slices of rye bread. The clam chowder soup was excellent and hot.I am guessing the other two reviews were either friends or owners. You can do better else where.

Ok where do I start. We really want to Ike this place because we love the golf course but after a 2nd try and worse than the first I give up. To start with the place never has enough staff. You have to go hunt for someone just to get a table in the bar area. Most tables are sitting there with dirty dishes and need to be cleared. Once you sit down you hope to get a waitstaff person but they are so short staffed it takes forever. Then another 10 minutes for the drink order which is literally 10 feet away. Now for the food! 2 of our party order fish and they bring a small cup of Cole slaw that apparently we are supposed to share. I make the mistake of asking for more and that gets brought to the table after most of our main course is eaten. As for the fish, one order is for the traditional fried cod. That shows up undercooked with the center resembling a bad serving of sushi! Yuk. Of course getting it returned and a new order is another 10 minute ordeal. I order what's called the trio consisting of fried perch, as well as baked and fried cod. Sounds good on the menu and when it's delivered the plate is overflowing with food. That's where the good ends. It was overflowing with French fries but the smallest portions of fish I've ever seen except for a children's menu! My perch was the size of my thumb and only one filet. It was bland and tasteless. The single pieces of cod not much bigger. The broiled or baked piece was literally torn off a larger piece because you could see the jagged edge. All of it was bland and tasteless. The fries were over seasoned and the entire thing was overpriced. Would I try it a third time? No. Not unless they return to the food they had before it was Toothpicks. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and just go to Docs on the Fox.

Got the Wednesday night family dinner to go. Outstanding food ready to serve. Pork roast roumalade, fresh vegetables, baguette, potatoes, butter pecan custard and butter cookies. Everything was delicious. A great value when you consider your time used to shop, prep and cook.

Friday Fish Fry was great. The fish was perfectly done and the potato pancakes were crispy and super tasty. The waitstaff were very attentive and quick. We never had to wait for fresh drinks! Can't wait to try the other menu items. The decor is so tasteful and the ambiance very fun.

Now Sams restaurant. Menu style very unprofessional in appearance. Fish fry was ok but a bit greasy. No decorations and a cold atmosphere. Empty areas where tables should be and extra chairs stacked along walls. Service was ok but a little rushed even though they weren't busy. The check came before we were finished eating. They were only open about 7 weeks so we will give them another chance.

What a hidden gem! Toothpicks took over the previously hideous restaurant and created gold. Chef Adam's creations are always a hit. The fish fry is all homemade. The fish is fresh, flavorful, and portioned well for the price. The clam chowder is the best I've had including the greater Boston area. Leave room for the desert of the day. You won't regret your trip to Toothpicks at Rivermoor! This is the only fish fry my (formerly vegetarian) wife will eat without complaint.
