Tony's Fresh Market

Lots of parking even on a Saturday and nice wide aisles that are well stocked at this location. Friendly employees were quick to clean up when someone knocked down the cherry tomato display (not us)!Their bakery and deli section is huge but not well staffed on a holiday weekend so waits are long.No lines for checkout because lots of staff there including baggers.The store is clean and bright. Download their digital coupons for good savings like $1.99/dz Cage free farm eggs and .99 cent blueberry pints. Watch prices just like anywhere else but impressive freshness.

I was hesitant to visit this Tony's one day after opening in Schaumburg, but I have heard so many great things about other locations. The place was very busy and the parking lot was filled. I was trying to find some of the opening deals and scored 59 cent bags of pasta, limit 6, and bottles of fresh squeezed OJ are $6.99. I also really like the deli section, particularly the cheeses, because they have some of my favorite brands and flavors. I probably stood in line close to 30 minutes because the lines were packed. Definitely, the word is out that this place is open. I also grabbed a tuna poke bowl, homemade pico, and a package of shrimp cocktail with sauce for $5. I like to cut up the shrimp and add it to the Pico for a quick ceviche.The bakery is legit, and I love that there are Polish, German, Hispanic, and Asian baked goods. Tony's is sure to give local places like Valli produce or deli for you some competition. But I'm not quite sure yet if they offer the best pricing compared to these other locations. I'll definitely be back because it's convenient and I can even walk to this location on a nice day. I heard that Tuesdays are 10% off for seniors days. Welcome to Schaumburg Tony's!

Some days really good hot bar food, some days ok hot bar food. I liked that it had a lot of variety, ie it changes day to day. It's 9.99 a pound. The crab cake is mostly batter but it's quite tasty. Fried fish was moist on the inside, but a bit dry on the outside, to be expected for food that sits out. Pizza had flavorful sausage, but otherwise, it's just pizza. Fried shrimp I got was nice and moist on the inside, the shrimp scampi pasta was a bit more dried. I tried to get some herb and garlic fish, but i couldn't cut it apart, it was tough on the one side for some reason.Staff seem friendly so that's a good thing. Prices of stuff seems in line with other places. Always look at ads for some good deals. You enter on one side which has the hot food and taco restaurant and sushi (6 bucks on weds i think). Walk through the rest of the store, and end up on the other side. All the way at the end is self check out, better than waiting forever in line. I look forward to trying out some other stuff in the future. Mainly some of the refridgerated food, general tso's, alfedo pasta etc. That stuff i have to heat up but it's like 7 bucks for 2 servings worth, so it will be a better deal if I can't find something I like on the hot bar. This stuff is before the hot bar on the right near the guac and salsas etc. Soups also seem to rotate in the 2 days I have been there, that's going to be really nice since i work nearby.

Fresh vegetables and fruits at Tony's fresh produce lots of many varieties besides that hot fresh baked bread and sandwiches to go along with your beverages the food is great and service with a smile so next time you're at Tony's don't forget to say hello.

Daniel the bakery manager keeps a clean and tight ship. Fast, friendly, and quality service. he keeps a clean work area and made a cannoli quickly.

I have been so disappointed with Tony's as of late. It use to be a great store chain to shop at. There are no decent sales any more. Maybe that's because of the economy or I hear the are under new management or ownership. I bought some spare ribs that were on sale. They looked really good. Came home to cook them and when I opened the package there were only like 7 ribs fir the whole pack. Piled underneath the was a bunch of the rib tips. I felt like a got robbed.

Today at Tony's Fresh Market in Schaumburg, a cashier attended to us with a terrible attitude. The self-checkout registered a price of $18.99 for a basil, and when I called her, she assisted us very poorly. When I tried to pay, the system wouldn't allow me to, so I called her again. She came back angry, with a miserable attitude, shouting 'What's wrong?' I asked for her name, and she ran off.The store manager should consider evaluating her performance and reconsider if this girl is fit to deal directly with customers.

So I was hesitant to shop at Tony's in Schaumburg again because of a disappointing experience a few months back because of sales prices not given at POS and bagged lettuce being stale a day after I purchased, but I decided to try again and attached is a picture of the Premium Navel oranges I purchased in a bag when opened the same day. 5 of the nine oranges look like this!

If you go to Tony's beware of their pricing policies. The last three times I have shopped there I have been overcharged. When they display their products they regularly put sale signs in front of regularly priced items. Or they will place similar regular priced items right next to sale items. Another trick they use is they will change a sale price to the regular price on the computer but leave the sale price up. The last time I went there I told the people behind me to check their receipt. The manager told me I shouldn't do that!

A shoutout to Leila as I shopped on 8/6/24 and was concern my points would be loss with the new program. Upon entering the store, she took the time and helped me download and navigate the new app. I feel very confident shopping at a customer-focus store.Townsend
