I reviewed before but it's so good I had to do another mention. The best pizza that I've had. It beats the competition. This pizza - ask for the pinza crust - is crisp and flaky - has some crust, not too much yet thin (as we order it) and the sauce is perfect and the toppings are plentiful as you order. Their sausage is just the right spice. I love Tony Maronni's and they are family and local. They are not a chain. They are much better and family recipe. The son works at the chef too. You get a plastic slice each time you order (take out or delivery til 7pm) and when you collect 8, the 8th pizza is FREE plus extra toppings for their charge. I love TONY LIPPOLD's pizza. Award Winning, 5 STAR!!!!!Thanks for the best pizza.

AMAZING pizza!!! The interior leaves much to be desired, so I would highly recommend take-out. They did close early once due to slow service, which was disappointing. Really like their reward pizza magnets that make it fun to earn a free pizza!

Oh my gosh!!! One of the best local pizza places I have had. It may be small, but the pizza packs a punch! I ordered the Noah and cheesy garlic bread- both were amazing. The small pizza last for 3 days, and is the perfect pizza to eat cold or reheated. The crust was crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the flavor was so good. Now the chessy garlic bread- OUT OF THIS WORLD. So much garlic flavor, so crunchy, so cheesy, it was declious. The next time you are in Sussex, make sure to take home some pizza.

Well after coming out of holy Hill Mass at 11:00 originally about to go to Fox and hound. I had discovered this hole in the wall Italian restaurant that's not too bougie and was in my budget and was craving for Italian despite being in Wisconsin. They are known for their pizza but I wasn't craving for pizza since I had pizza yesterday. It was good. Service was a bit slow but friendly. The sandwich was delicious with the meatballs I didn't know it was a meatball sandwich and their lasagna is very fresh and homemade the calamari was delicious too and it was not too battered very light with the marinara sauce. It's interesting that the owner Tony himself is married to a Filipino but he was very nice and kind. As well as generous giving some biscuits. Four out of five stars because of the fact that I wish he had more entrees besides pizza but they're very quaint and kind of hole in the wall but those are usually the good places to go to near holy Hill church.

I was so excited to see that they offered pinsas! I had my first experience with pinsa back in San Francisco and couldn't believe how amazing it was. Pinsas are a type of hand pressed pizza dough. It has more protein, less fat, and is more easily digested. Unfortunately, whoever made our pinsas, four in total, pressed the hell out of the dough, removing all of the air that should have been part of the pinsa. Not only that, everything arrived barely warm. My friends and I agreed that it probably sat for 30 minutes before being delivered.I am unfortunately unimpressed with this business, and won't be ordering from them again.

Best pizza in south east Wisconsin. I'm a longtime fan. Great service ! The restaurant has an old time Italian feel with checkered table cloths! Try the cannolis and the meatballs! Old country flavors

If you like spicy sausage on your pizza, this is the place to go. We did takeout, but the restaurant has the most wonderful old world Italian setting. I would go there next time. Great ambience!

We can't say enough good things about this place! The food was excellent, the service for dine-in was great, and the servers were so nice and checked on us regularly. We tried the sicilian sliders and they were SO good! We had the thin-crust Milwaukee style pizza. This is definitely are go-to for pizza! It's about a 30 minute drive for us, but it is well worth it.

I had driven by This establishment many times going to my moms place but had never eaten here.So when i asked my mom to lunch and she said she hadnt had a good pizza in a long time, I figured it would be a good time to try Tony Maronni's.I am so glad I was finally able to give this little unassuming family run Italian restaurant a go! I have eaten and handmade many pizzas in my life but this is one of the absolutely BEST pizzas I have ever eaten! We ordered the hand tossed crust with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion. The Crust was perfect, thin but not cracker thin the outside was crispy the inside perfectly soft and steamy. The tomato sauce was tangy and the toppings were applied in just the right amount. Many times with thinner crust the toppings will be swimming in oil, cheese and sauce which makes for a soggy pizza.I talked with the owner who was also waiting on us about how he made the dough. He said that he makes it then cold proof/ ferments it for 3 days. The crust is par baked before the toppings are added then cooked to perfection. My mom agreed it was one of the best pizza's she had ever eaten and she is 94.For dessert we had the canolli and were not dissappointed they were sweet without being cloyingly sweet and the shells were beautifully crispy. The Owner Tony Maronni was very pleasant and it was wonderful talking to him. These are the kinds of small businesses that used to add character and uniqueness to small towns but have largely been replaced by the the ubiquitess corporate franchises. So do yourself a favor and have a meal at Tony Maronnis!
