If you came to buy just apples, I admire your self-control. I suspect you won't resist something from their bakery, and you won't be disappointed.

This orchard has the BEST honey crisp apples I have tasted in my life. Like other Madison residents, I drove 2 hours to come here, and it was well worth it. Another perk to this orchard is that it's less than a mile from the Horicon Marsh! Perfect day trip for families, couple and singles alike. I will definitely return.

A cute gem that we stumbled upon when driving to Horicon Marsh. It was a beautiful fall day when we visited and there was some sort of outdoor party happening. Brat Fry. Live Band. Apples and bakery. What more could someone want on a beautiful Saturday afternoon? Ok, maybe beer but still, a great visit. We were able to sample some of their donuts and caramel apples and will say that they were damn good. We were late in the season but was still impressed with the quantity and different types of apples still available. Not a short drive from Madison but if I am ever back in the area, I will be stopping here to load up. A great find!

They have a wonderful well kept orchard and sell a variety of homemade locally produced food items. We were there in October and they had a nice selection of pumpkins and squash too. Very friendly. I highly recommend.

Near Waupun is this fabulous orchard and bakery. The apple picking starts in September. If you like a certain apple their website will list the approximate time they are available. They also have a backers where you can by apple cider donuts, fresh apple turnovers, apple squares, muffins, and apple pie. Or you can buy an unbaked apple pie from their Fridge or freezer that you can bake later. They have a huge playground for kids.

We have driven from Madison for more than 20 years to get Tom Dooley's double dipped caramel apples. They are like caramel turtle candy with a crisp juicy apple added in. But their Dutch apple pies, Apple puffs, apple muffins, and apple cider doughnuts are equally worth the drive. Seriously one of the best bakeries we have ever visited with even nicer people and great midwestern small-town prices. Grab a box and then head a half mile down the road to the floating boardwalk on the north edge of the largest freshwater marsh in North America. It's an unbeatable combination! And good news for people who travel with that cash: they now take credit cards.

I went to Wisconsin on business for a couple of weeks. After being HIGHLY recommended to me from several clinics I visited throughout Wisconsin I figured I would give Tom Dooley's a shot. The actual orchard/shop is really adorable and the lady working there was a doll. I picked up half a dozen Honeycrisp apples and a caramel apple for the road. The Honeycrisp apples were good...not too much better than other apples of the same type that I have eaten previously. The caramel apple was delicious. It was sweet and covered in a lot of caramel.ALSO- They only accept cash. There is a bank in the town right next door that has an ATM if you need to stop.Overall, I enjoyed my treat from Tom Dooleys. I wouldn't make a special trip there again, but I would stop if I was already driving past the exit.

Love their apples and bakery! I stock up and freeze some items for later as it is a seasonal store. So good! Wish they were open year long.

Best Carmel apple my wife has ever had great muffins, bakery itself is worthy of a visit. The rest is the typical pumkin stand with overpriced jellys etc . Better than most.
