We would have given this place a solid 3.5 if the waitress had not been rude to my 90 year old father when he questioned the use of Crown Royal for his drink when he said "nothing fancy" for his whisky choice. For a 4$ price difference just say sorry and give the customer a good feeling instead of walking away and saying "I'm not arguing with you anymore ". He was not arguing.... Too bad because the food was ok, fish fry average but the corn bread was awesome and the menu looked good. Won't be back just because of the waitress

Stopped in here yesterday on our way threw Madison! My husband had the daily special (Double cheeseburger and Fries) I had the hotdog and breaded mushrooms. They were both absolutely delicious. The bartender Kelly was so attentive and friendly to us "out of towners". There were 2 other locals in there and they were so friendly ! I wish we lived closer this would definitely be our go to hangout !

Went with 3 friends on a Thursday night. Our server was drunk and very rude. It felt like only regulars were allowed in. Will never come back because of the server. When we asked for our check, the server replied "are ya gonna tip?" as if she knew she was super rude to us the entire time.It's too bad because the decor looked cool and the food was somewhat edible.

Food has been awesome. New ownership is awesome and very friendlyAll the bartenders are very friendly and the crowd is awesome.

Under new ownership and new cooks! The food is much better. The deer selection is decent. It's a good stop off for a quick lunch and a beer. The Smashburger and fries was good.

Under new management: not impressed. We were charged for tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and a single refill on soda. To be clear, we each asked for one tartar sauce and one cocktail sauce to accompany our fries and cheese curds. We were charged for these condiments. Way to jack up the bill. Not impressed.

I've ordered three times in the past three months for food to go. All three times they have screwed up the orders. Good really isn't that great either. So if you're desperate and order food from there, make sure you check the order before you leave. I know I'll never eat there again.

I use to love going to Timbers.. the drinks were good and the ambiance was perfect.. now? The service is TERRIBLE! I walk in and am IGNORED. No idea if it's because I look different than the typical customer or what.. but to be ignored and told as we are walking out to go to the Frog Pond is unacceptable. We will be happy to spend our money at the Frog Pond where the food is good, service is excellent, and the people are welcoming.
