Tied House Milwaukee

We wondered upon this place serendipitously. As we walked to our wine place across the street, to our disappoint, the place was closed for renovations. To our surprise, we past this crowded bar, Tied House. Adam greeted us and invited us in. The menu was very eclectic. The names of the drinks were well thought out. As the drinks came out, we were pleasantly impressed by the presentation and more importantly, the taste. Flavors were as accurate as the description. We will be back!

Incredible staff and such intricately made cocktails! If you get the chance to talk with the owner, he is so passionate about what he does and how the cocktails are curated to a science. The space is modern, yet cozy. Please take the time to stop in!

I stumbled upon this gem after an evening of kayaking, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try! I hadn't heard of this place before, but the photos really drew me in. With the beautiful weather, we chose to sit outdoors and were immediately charmed by the colorful, vibrant, and lively outdoor setting. The ambiance made us feel as if we were in a tropical paradise rather than Wisconsin. The lush greenery and beautiful decor added to the overall experience.The staff was incredibly friendly, and it was clear the owner takes great pride in the quality of their drinks. They couldn't offer the mango drink on their specials list because it didn't meet the owner's standards, which I appreciated.While the drinks were a bit on the pricier side, especially for their bourbon and whiskey options, you definitely get what you pay for. Their selection was impressive, featuring hard-to-find choices like Whistle Pig and Buffalo Trace. The specialty drinks were also delicious. We tried their version of an Old Fashioned and a margarita, both paired with Whistle Pig, and everything was fantastic.The ambiance, the wonderful staff, and the delicious drinks made for a memorable experience. I've already recommended this place to a few friends and can't wait to come back and try more of what they offer!

This is a super fun cocktail spot that MKE needed! I love love the exclusive feel when you walk in through the alley and then enter a little paradise oasis great music/vibe and the cocktails are awesome - I am not often a Mezcal fan but the cocktail on the menu that uses it is . Both times we have gone we walk up and get seated immediately which is always a great experience. Some feedback:-the 2x I've been there now we have been seated in the lower back area (perhaps since we weren't a reservation and walked in?). It feels a little disparate from the more trendy, larger seating space. I think it would be really cool to tie the 2 spaces together more by putting up some bamboo fencing or large Palm Leaf pots along the gate facing the sidewalk. Perhaps some classic large black/white striped umbrellas would also be cool!-hours can be a little funky, google will say you're open but twice I showed up and you were actually closed - would be great for someone to stay on top of updating hours for closures

Ambiance 10/10 Drinks 8/10Date night ended right, a delish new summer cocktail. We snagged an outdoor patio spot on a Friday night, and it really is one of the best summer patio vibes downtown! I can't recall the name of the drink I ordered but honestly you cannot go wrong at this spot! Cheers to summer friends!!

Wow this is such a cute place for cocktails! They change their decor each season. We went during the summer and the theme was Eden. Lots of beautiful plans, white drapes and lights! Meant to go back in the fall to see what the new theme was but I'll have to check out the winter one! The cocktails were so good and the service was exceptional! Definitely a great spot to enjoy a nice drink.

His friendly and humorous demeanor set a positive tone for the entire experience.We were seated on the lovely patio and informed that the establishment exclusively serves drinks, with the kitchen dedicated to crafting unique and creative beverages. This concept was refreshing and intriguing. Taking our time to look over the menu, I ultimately decided on the "Rhubix Cube" cocktail.Our drinks arrived promptly, and I must say, they were delicious. The Rhubix Cube had a strong strawberry flavor that was both refreshing and enjoyable. The strawberry cube garnish added an extra touch of visual appeal.Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and I'm delighted that I randomly decided to stop by. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely return. The friendly service, delightful ambiance, and flavorful drinks make this place a hidden gem worth visiting.

The Tied House has a fantastic location down in the Third Ward and the space is incredible. The bar feels cozy and intimate without feeling cramped and somehow the staff continued to make room for new guests without feeling overwhelming. The cocktails were impeccable and the plants were also pretty awesome to check out! If you're a beet lover the "Beet of a different dram" was an incredible cocktail, very fruity while still holding all that nice beer flavor! "That one time in Mexico" was also a great tequila cocktail that was very sneaky with the liquor, you couldn't even taste it!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Milwaukee. The service is always impeccable and everyone is so warm and kind. The drinks are curated and the menu switches up frequently (giving you even more reason to come back). My friends opted for the Rhubix Cube while I was able to get the NA version of the Elixir. The ambiance is amazing and makes you feel like you're in a hidden away jungle within the city.

Unique drinks and a beautiful and fun outdoor atmosphere! Definitely a great place to grab a drink and sit outside during the summer and fall seasons.
