Shouting from the rooftop...We went to Theo's 24 and to say I was NOT disappointed is an understatement. We started the night getting a specialty drink of salted caramel martini. It was delicious. Now for the star of the night I got the garlic stuffed fillet. When I say it was outstanding, that is an understatement. The steak was perfectly done, and the Demi glaze was indescribable. The beefy flavor with a splash of burgundy (totally guessing) was incredible. The scallops were lightly crispy on the outside and done to perfection on the inside. Again not one complaint. We also had an amazing server, Quentin, very professional, knowledgeable, and a dash of carisma. A fabulous birthday dinner. Thank you Dave and Theo's 24 for making it a great night! People save up your $'s and visit this place.

The steaks here are quite good, and this might be the best restaurant in town. It's certainly the classiest. There are two rooms, you enter through the bar and walk back for the dining room. The interior is attractively designed, brighter than the usual special occasion steak place and if you sit near the window you have a nice view of the century old buildings across the street. The ribeye was almost as good as Mason Street Grill in Milwaukee and more than $10 cheaper with sides included. But there are certain differences between this restaurant and upscale steak places in Milwaukee or Chicago. First, there's the other clientele. The men were dressed in a manner that they wouldn't have been allowed to play in most golf courses (t-shirts and athletic shorts, flip flops), but that's not really the restaurant's fault. There's no hostess or hostess station, when you walk in a bartender has to notice you and find you a table. No bread plates, no table cloths, no bussers, no manager, and most unusual, no baked potato. On the other hand the restaurant is quite a bit less expensive than bigger city steak places serving this quality of steak. I really enjoyed my steak, which was served exactly medium rare like I ordered, I did not like the horseradish mashed potatoes but that's just a personal preference thing. The green beans were perfect. Service was good, even without hostess, manager, or bussers, the only two waitresses for the room worked well as a team. This is one of those places where they serve way too much plastic, I could not stop the plastic straws with every glass.

Came to Retlaw Hotel for my husband's birthday and ate here. Just wonderful. Service was superb. Had crab cake appetizer which was absolutely delicious! My husband had striip steak and the soup. He loved both. I had garlic confit tenderloin and salad with house made blue cheese dressing. Both were wonderful. Great way to celebrate his birthday

Perfect. Everything was absolutely beautiful perfect. The filet was cooked and prepared to absolute perfection. The green beans were crisp and well seasoned. The Irish mashed potatoes were delightfully intriguing, more surprising was how light and fluffy the preparation was. Highly recommend.

Update: we went here 2 weeks ago and I had the Garlic Confit stuffed beef tenderloin with a mushroom Demi glacé. It was the best steak I have ever eaten anywhere in the entire world! I know that is a wild claim, but it is true!! I am still thinking about it!! I want to get it for takeout after work for my dinner but it's $50. So unfortunately I have to wait for a special occasion. Honestly, everything I have ever eaten here has been superb. But that steak, man, I just don't know if I can order anything else off the menu now!! Which is a shame because everything is always good. But I'm just dreaming about that steak!

We found Theo's 24 on Yelp while in town visiting friends. The food, drinks and staff were excellent! I highly recommend the pomegranate martini, ribeye and Northwoods Walleye. All were outstanding! We will definitely be back next!

I was lucky enough to find this restaurant on Yelp while staying in Fond du lac overnight on a business trip. Great, cozy, spot that the locals all seem to enjoy on a regular basis. While the steaks all looked great I was looking for something a little lighter that evening and decided on the Walleye. It was undoubtedly the best fillet of Walleye I have ever had. It came with fresh green beans which were prepared to perfection, and because the mashed potatoes were oversold for the evening I opted for the French fries. What a delightful surprise those turned out to be. I completely cleaned my plate and could not have eaten a morsel more. For a total of $30 plus tip and tax I don't think a better value could have been found within 1000 miles. I will definitely go back again for dinner whenever I am within 50 miles of Fond du lac and suggest you do the same.

Randomly picked this place because of the good reviews and I was impressed. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in and the steak was done absolutely perfect and was the best steak I've had in a LONG time. Better than Lombardis by far. I'd go back for sure.
