Ehhh...I have a hard time warming up to the Terminal, maybe because I really miss the old Landmark next door. The person that owns this bar also owns Landmark and City Lounge and cares about a nice atmosphere.Terminal is HUGE, it was an old industrial building. So, it always feels empty even on busy nights. Drink prices are fair and it is clean. I just can't bring to myself to really like the Terminal, it's lacking in a way I can't pinpoint. I would say give it a try though, it is definitely one of the nicer places in the area.

Yes indeed Joe Halser runs and owns both the Terminal and the Landmairk. Both are great places to eat and drink and be merry. Prices are right, beer selection is phenominal. Folks are nice. The place is cozy and huge,, with lots of historical artifacts.Highly recomend.

This is a nice place to meet up with friends. There won't be any fights and there's plenty of parking in the adjoining lot. They have a nice beer selection and there's always a place to sit. This place is huge. I believe it's an old truck terminal....hence the name. It is decorated with pieces of other closed Milwaukee structures. I have heard the owner spent years putting it together himself. The food is standard bar fare. The pizza and nachos are very good. The crowd is usually over 30 and they are definitely not the type who dress to get into the Milwaukee St bars.

The Terminal is full of Milwaukee history with artifacts from historic buildings integrated into the decor, like marble from old churches. The place is huge and good for party rentals. The food is more traditional with chicken sandwiches and small pizzas. All of the food is of good quality. The bathrooms are the cleanest...they even create points on their paper rolls! They heat the place with their own created heating system, very eco-friendly. The Terminal is a unique place for a weeknight...experience a scavenger hunt of days gone by.

The Landmark 1850 was the first bar I ever drank in. Between my 21st birthday in August 2006 and October 2007 when it closed, it was the only bar I ever drank in. The Terminal is no Landmark, lets get that out of the way. In fact, I'd often wonder what the hell the Terminal was when I was walking out of the Landmark at night. It is a pretty cool place in its on right though. The beer selection isn't what it was at the Landmark, but it is still pretty ok. The food is decent and the bartenders and waitresses are great. The space is kind of unbelievable. They basically transformed a truck depot into something pretty special. They have a nice deck on the north side of the building and its kind of cool to watch the airplanes land after a few beers. Worth a look, it's my favorite place in that part of town.

The Terminal has been CLOSED to the public for a while now. I believe they still use the building for receptions. I imagine it would be perfect for that. It is huge- not really cozy, but more like industrial big. Very clean. If I had to throw a conference for the NBA or the WWE, or even a bunch of real fat people it would be perfect. There is so much space! The Landmark next store is still open, and still is a MILW staple.
