The Taqueria

Stopped in for dinner & a little surprised it was not a typical 'sit-down' and be waited on place..... but ordered shrimp tacos with chips & salsa and very surprised the food was good! Tacos were very tasty & nice portion size. Made the mistake of ordering large chip bag & salsa as it could easily feed 3-4 people!Nice selection of Mex beers and enjoyed the experience

We stopped here while in town to do official photos at the dog show. We drove past the restaurant and thought it looked good from the outside. Glad we stopped in to experience food and ambiance. We were greeted when walking in and asked if we'd been there before. Then given the rundown on the various foods and given a menu to make our selections. The advice was right on for what to try and when we looked at other people's plates everything looked like it was worth trying.Decor was bright and fun and there's a glass garage door that opens for sitting indoors and feeing like outdoors or go through it and sit on the patio Traditional street foods and definitely would try this place again.

There is no better choice for Mexican in town! My family and I call this our go to spot for Mexican cuisine! Not your basic run of the mill taco joint! They have a great menu with many choices, only drawback is you stand in line to order, wait for the order to be prepared which isn't too bad, you're given a buzzer, love the Steak soft tacos, nice lean pieces of steak, and I love there green Verde sauce! Only thing I'd change is to switch to Coke products in the drink station, now that Culver's switched over taqueria can follow suit!All in all a great choice for Mexican!

First timers food and service was perfect. Best tacos in Oshkosh and drinks were on point. My hubby had a Michelada and I had a Paloma. The salsa red and green were like Christmas delish and spicy. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Mexican food and service, nice outdoor seating too. I didn't have high expectations for Wisconsin but I was really surprised.

Good environment but the tacos were decently good.I ordered tacos Al pastor and carnitasAl pastor was perfect,The only downfall with the carnitas taco, the meat tasted a bit funky like if was spoiled or defrosted too many times.

Oh yes girl!!! Was in town visiting family from Chicago. I asked if they had any new places I should check out, they quickly mentioned The taqueria!! So we decided to stop by sunday morning because I made my way back to the city!Wow!! I have never had such amazing tacos and queso-birrias in the Fox Cities!! I opted for a chori-pollo bowl as my main and had a bite of my moms tacos and queso-birrias. I also got a large Horchata, delicious! The layout is cute! Can't wait to come back when its warmer! I loved the Mexican Female art in the woman's bathroom!

Carne Asada was delicious. The meat was tender and seasoned to perfection, the onions wonderfully charred & the jalapeño was so fleshy and good like a fruit, and the greens were fresh & crisp. Serve yourself restaurant, chips & salsa don't come with the meal. Salsa had a nice garlic flavor. Enjoyed the festive & fun atmosphere with the California doors!

Had the Cali burrito and some of the street tacos. They were all great! The picture doesn't do the size of the burrito justice. I wish the fries were a little more crispy inside of the burrito, but that would be my only suggestion! The restaurant is clean, the workers are friendly and helpful, and the food has great flavor.

Food was decent. Presentation just ok. Service fast. Tacos Al pastor, good Flan was cheesecake texture. Strange. Nothing was great. Very clean tho. .75 service charge ( not sure why), and no one answered phone - mailbox full- when I called to ask why. So deducted a point for that.
