The Tap Yard - Waukesha

Located in western area of Waukesha easy to Chet to and part of the Shoppes at Fox River with plenty of parking. You come here to socialize, with a great selection of beers and food trucks and it is outside! That's the best part for us WI natives. Plenty of local and national micro beers for those beer snobs. The fun is what you make it. We need more places like these! Love it...

Not what we thought but still a cool concept. They set up a beer garden in the middle of a parking lot and have a LOT of space for distancing. They have limited seating on top of the shipping container that houses the bar underneath.You order your beer by # and they have a pretty extensive tap list. The prices were very reasonable, espescially considering they have beers like Zombie Dust and Foggy Geezer. The servers were friendly and quick!No real bathrooms but 5 portables. They also have a lot of outdoor games - bags, connect four, etc. We will probably try this again but might wait for live music. Plus side, lots of food available in the area since you're right next to the shopping center.

With fall fast approaching, the outdoor activities seem to be widely sought after. This was a pleasant find for a Friday night. Live music, good crowd, dancing eats and drinks with yard games and more!

The Tap Yard - Waukesha is a nice outdoor space to grab a beer or seltzer. The location is in the Shoppes at Fox River and they've put down a layer of wood chips in the parking lot. It sounds a little different, but it works. They generally have a food truck or two for your enjoyment as well. There are a ton of picnic tables, some with umbrellas, that can seat up to eight people. They also have a variety of yard games like bags that you can play for free. The rooftop deck above the bar is a fun place to people watch from. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, they're dog friendly.

Excellent selection of beers that one wouldn't expect from a beer garden. There are a lot of picnic tables that comfortably fit our party of 6. With so many kids around, the hammer game should probably disappear. Not a fan of the wood chips floor and wonder how that will fare when folks are in open toed sandals and flip flops as the weather gets warmer. Definitely worth a visit for a few pints!

Such an amazing beer garden. So many different beers and seltzers to choose from. Live music is always a fun time on the weekend. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great plan for outdoor fun and a beer!! Love it! Friends & I have been at the Waukesha Tap Yard a few times. The owner was friendly and helpful, he does know the beers! Food was good too. We are coming back for the Winter Wonderland....can't wait for this!! We hope to get an igloo.....what fun that will be!!
