The SweetSpot Bakehouse

We had some time to kill before dropping my daughter off at tennis camp at UW Whitewater and stopped for some years and beverages.My daughter ordered a chocolate covered donut. It was better than most bakery donuts. Soft and moist. It wasn't s as heavy as a cake donut but it had more body than a raised donut. The chocolate frosting was a good chocolate flavor without excessive sweetness.We split a chocolate chip cookie. It was full of chocolate chunks, and large chips. It was a good cookie with a hint of sea salt.Loved the lavender lemonade and my lavender latte.We will stop again next week when we pick up Erin from camp

As I visited the bakehouse it was a great spot. Comparative to the sweet spot cafe the food was amazing, fresh and warm. I loved the bagel it's one of the best I've ever had. Blended latte requires flavor don't forget that as I did. Still a very good overall small coffee shop to visit!

I got a Chocolate donut. It was really good. If we ever come to the Whitewater area again we should come here! I really liked it but I don't think I can compare it to any other donut place I've been to. But I liked it and it was good.

I travel to White Water about twice a year for Camp. I love the little town feel and the run of everything with very little traffic. So, I'm a Latte guy and appreciate a good Coffee shop. Honestly I'm mostly a Starbuck's regular. The nearest Starbucks is about 25 minutes away and we thought we'd give The SweetSpot a try. I'm sure glad we did! The SweetSpot is located in a small college town on the edge of nowhere and they absolutley nail what they do. The drinks are awesome and made with care. Though they're great, the desserts are the star. The counter is filled with fresh never frozen treats that will have you coming back for more. I want a cream dessert right now! The bottom line is this place is 5-Star good and will hit your Sweet Spot. Give them a try and save a few bucks on the purchase and a few bucks on gas.

Stopped by for a coffee during a visit to Whitewater. Appreciated the drive thru accommodation and social distancing measures in place (Curbside service only at time of visit). Order an iced oat latte in the drive thru, and drove to the pickup window with it practically waiting for me. Quick service, friendly staff, fantastic lattes. Will definitely be grabbing another next time I'm in town!

My husband and I had the sweet spot cater dessert for our wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Everything was absolutely perfect and we would recommend the Sweet Spot 100 times over. Their cake is so moist and flavorful. Not only was everything delicious, the cakes and cupcakes were beautifully frosted. Everything looked so elegant, just like we wanted. The online ordering process for the bake house is a breeze. We loved that we could include inspiration pictures. It did take a bit for us to hear back about an order confirmation though. Before choosing the Sweet Spot for our dessert caterer, I had heard SO many good things about it. And I'm so glad I listened to all the great reviews! The Sweet Spot does not disappoint!!

The need for better trays for beverages is absolutely needed. While receiving 4 drinks with the most flimsy tray all drinks went in the car floor. When confronted the issue to the girls inside, they were not too helpful in trying to resolve the issue. Be aware of the flimsy low quality trays.

I LOVE THE SWEETSPOT! Any chance I get to support this business I do it. They have done cakes for my graduation, birthday, and other events that I have needed sweets for. Most recently, they did customized cookies for my brother-in-laws MBA graduation and they were a HIT! Everyone loved them. I am continuously impressed by the sweetspots timelines, communication, and creativity. It only took me two email exchanges to get these fabulous cookies ordered. I cannot give enough praise to this place!

I hosted a bridal shower for our nephew's fiancee and special ordered a 1/4 sheet cake. The lemon cake with cream cheese frosting was absolutely delicious. But (pun intended) the artful decoration was the icing on the cake! Literally, I sent a copy of the invitation to Ashley Valentine and the decorator matched it perfectly! It was a big hit even before we all tasted it! Ashley said the 1/4 sheet would serve 20-24 and she was right on the mark! The bride was happy, the guests were happy and the mother-in-law and aunts who hosted the shower were all happy! Will be ordering from the SweetSpot Bakehouse again! Thanks you Ashley!

Delicous place. Inside is very spacious and moderate.Same as the sweet spot, drinks are the same. Sucks that the monthly specials aren't there.
