I'm really bummed we didn't like this place more because it is a really cute WI bar. The service was ok. You'd think the sever would ask if we wanted more drinks. We didn't like the homemade mozzarella sticks. Bland and very heavy. The chicken sandwiches tasted like fake chicken, rubbery and no flavor. My hubby said the burger was really good. We'd go back but only for the burgers. Someone played some really vulgar songs, horrible and there was families there. Surprised by that. And it was 2:00 in the afternoon. Maybe we just had a bad day there?

They catered our Mother's Day celebration and everyone raved about the food!! Great bands every Sunday! Always a great time!

Saw their menu on Facebook, just had to try their foot long Chicago dog and the Triple cheese stacker! Both awesome. The hotdog is actually longer than a foot and all beef, I had the Triple cheese and instead of burger condiments, I asked for mushrooms and gravy, great choice! Next time, just gravy will do! Nice and patient bartender, I had some questions and of course a special request! Definitely recommend and we'll be back! It's not in our town of Two Rivers, but it's worth the short drive!

I used the Smiling Moose for a catering event. I actually did price comparison with another catering company, Broken Plate. Smiling Moose won on the price by quite a lot. So there ya go on price!The food looked absolutely amazing and tasted awesome also. Presentation was beautiful and I mean beautiful!And I have to say they're super easy to work with and friendly. Make your catering requests in advance though. They book up fast because of how great they are!

Great food. Typical bar food (burgers, etc.), really good soups. Environment can be loud with music. Friendly, both staff and the regulars.

Gotta tell you about our Friday night out. The guys at Hoban Brothers told us this place had a really good fish fry on Friday nights. So we drove to the sticks to try out this bar/restaurant. The building itself is a bit organic. It's old school wood inside. The bar was packed but there were three long tables. We sat at the end of one of those tables wondering what the protocol was . Within two minutes a very friendly (and cute) waitress approached us; and asked us what we wanted to drink. They have several good beers on tap. My wife ordered an Oktoberfest and I ordered a Spotted Cow. In minutes our waitress placed two beers in front of my wife. I was reaching for one when two beers were placed in front of me. Our waitress informed us that it was "double bubble" time. Two beers for the price of one.We perused the menu. Even though there were some great appetizers, we passed and decided to try their perch dinner. They also have bluegills, walleyes, haddock and catfish. The time slipped by as we sipped our beers. Out came our dinners. Wow, a very filled plate of food. The fish was excellent, as were the fries, cole slaw and rye bread.Even though the place was busy our waitress checked on us on regular occasions. Our meals were so good we were literally purring with pleasure. Note to my friends, if you're going to have an appetizer you better be hungry as we barely had enough room to finish our suppersAt the end I shook our waitress' hand and told her she did a great job. Tipped her well.Bottom line, this is a great place to get a fish dinner on a Friday night. The food was great, the service was great, the ambiance is biker bar. It was a bit raucous.If you want the Wisconsin experience of the Friday night fish fry, it would behoove you to check this place out.Top three of Friday fish in the Manitowoc area in my humble opinion.

Glad to see this place was still open for breakfast. Had it for the first time today and will definitely recommend and come back again! The three of us had a variety of omelettes bacon , great coffee, and amazing pancakes! Our server was helpful and genuine. Great service with great prices, would highly recommend!

I grew up 3 miles south of osman. I have been going to this bar since it was "Goldies and then "butches ". I decided to take my family out to eat there. wasn't very busy. The food is good but the service is indifferent. We got our drinks and menus okay and then we sat there while the employees set up for a band later in the day. we finally got to order and our food was really good but we were left alone. it felt as if we weren't regulars and the staff couldn't be bothered with us. nobody brought t check or asked about the food so I got up went to the bar and stood there for at least five minutes before the bartender acknowledged me. I thought I was invisible as she had looked right through me many times. then she was rude throughout the whole transaction. Ileft no tip nor will I ever go there again. thanks for the experience

Found the Moose off of reviews. First time I have ever had beer battered square curds. Amazing. Wife ordered the swiss mushroom burger and I went with Bison. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend a stop at the Moose

One hour round trip to pick up supper tonight and I'm glad that we did. A few had burgers and I had the Cajun Catfish = DELICIOUS! Purchased the Chimichangas to eat for another meal.... Great food and great service!
