The Shopes at Woodlake Kohler are a collection of boutique shops that you won't find anywhere else. This collection is what makes these shops unique, but it also hinders the allure.Boutique shopping sounds great. When you get to these shops, which are a series of shops in succession, you might see that the turnover for the items is slow (we saw dust on some items at the Christmas boutique) and the target audience is probably your mom and dad. There are a lot of craft items here as well. The exception here is Scentualities, which had very modern lingerie and loungewear for women, as well as exceptional purfumes such as Creed.

Every time we visit Kohler, the hubby and I always visit the Shops at Woodlake...as my husband has tears in his eyes from boredom. The shops are different and definately boutiques and expensive. I did find a maternity store that was extremely outrageous but I did find one item (chew bead necklaces) there that was in my price range! :) The market is pricey as well, so I would suggest if you are staying at the resort, stop somewhere along the way or bring your own alcohol/food.Again..definately pricey, but if you are visiting the resort and have some down time, check it out at least so you can say youve been!

The shops at Woodlake includes some cute shops. My favorites are Wisconsin Trader and Kohler Gardener - both of these shops always have fun and unique items.

I liked the selection of shops when we visited this summer. I found the people working at Sweet Potato clothing store to be very snooty. Why I am not sure but definetely would go back into that store.

I would agree with Kristen that the Shops at Woodlake are geared more towards an older crowd. With the exception of the supermarket, most of the stores were souvenir or kitchy type shops. There was this cool toy store that is worth stopping by at but other than that, the shopping leaves much to be desired.

Love this place! Great shops and restaurants. This shopping center is catered to the guests at the American Club. Other reviews are criticizing the upscale shops. So don't come if your looking for discount shopping.

Don't get me wrong ,the shops have very beautiful things and displayed very attractively. However there was not one single thing in my price range. Not a ornament, not a Tee shirt that was under $45.00. I liked looking at all of the pretty things, but that is where my experience began and ended. And no I won't be going again.

Sigh. For so many years, we've heard of the Shops at Woodlake Kohler. It always sounded like a great cross between Door County and Cedarburg and I've always wanted to go. So, my husband and I drove there to last Sunday to spend my birthday. How disappointing. The Shops at Woodlake Kohler is...essentially...a strip mall. There were a few good shops. The Craverie is fantastic, artisan chocolate. But other than that? Yawn. When we decided to look for a restaurant for dinner? We were told "Other than the American Club, there's not much here"...and they were right. All in all a really disappointing trip and not at ALL what we had thought it would be.
