The Runaway Micropub and Nanobrewery

This place is a really cool small town treasure. They have great pretzels and a wide variety of drinks. They also have a lot of menu options for a micropub brewery.

First expression on walking in was how cute this place was. Fun Wisconsin decor on the walls, upbeat music and staff that acknowledged us immediately! We grabbed a table after ordering some drinks at the bar and when our drinks were gone the staff came from behind the bar to ask us if we needed a refill! Great service in my book!! We ordered a panini brat and the chili and pretzel. All the food had great flavor! Will definitely be back!

Came out to see a friend's daughter sing for a solo night. Enjoyed some awesome beer! My friend tried a flight and I went with tap beers.The space is really cute (not huge) and they have a great back patio with more seating. I'd like to try the food next time if I'm in the area. They sell popcorn from a local company and it was pretty good.This is a short review, but I'd recommend checking it out!

Stopped here tonight for a pop-up Friday night concert. Beer, barbecue, music....what else do you need? They are also dog-friendly (allowed inside).

Wonderful folks with great beers! Always love stopping by for a flight.Everything on their menu that I've tried so far has been pretty good!Love their mustard sauce that comes with the pretzel.The outdoor seating is so lovely and scenic too!

Best pretzels ever! I just tried the steak quesadilla and it's soooooo soooo good! Need to try the tacos next but the food is sooo good!

We have walked by this restaurant/brewery many times and finally came here to enjoy Oktoberfest. Food and drink were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and there was live music . There is an outdoor patio in the back. We will return!

We were very impressed after our first visit to The Runaway...the 5 star ratings are legit! Every aspect of our experience was excellent. The welcoming and engaging staff was awesome. Very nice food and beverage offerings (IPA lovers, try the Icemen!). And the venue is a 10...a single room with a great decor and vibe, and clean all around. A bonus was the live music filling the room by the Gebel Girls from Burlington!

I can see why this place already gets 5 stars. From the moment we walked in and were warmly welcomed we had a great experience. Beers great. I was impressed with food choices. Outdoor area beautiful on a hot summer day. Service was excellent and friendly. We'll be back.

Great first night - the vibe is a typical small brewery. Gorgeous interior and outside deck.Beers are very well done and not overpowering. This place will be very popular in B-town.Their beer lists changes often. Lots of great options I've noticed.
