I've been here a few times and overall so far so good. Cool vibe on the water and beer menu is solid. My wife loves the frickles- gotta get em! Chili I had was so good. The crabby chicken sandwich is exquisite however don't recommend the pork tenderloin. Not hand breaded- unfortunate. All n all will go back, but no tenderloin.

Haven't been here since the remodel... it is very open and light, bright, but now reminds me of a hospital cafeteria with many game time TVs for sports fans! Prices have jacked up quite a bit and some faves were missing. The server had server seemed clueless. Hubby inquired about a Beyond Meat patty and the server had no clue what he was talking about and refused to ask the kitchen... even after he mentioned that in the past it was never on the menu.Food was Luke warm and adequate, nothing to write home about.The service was very slow, even though it was quite empty for lunch hour. We waited almost 15 minutes for an appetizer and then almost 20 more minutes for lunch.

Enjoyed lunch at the Rock Bar & Grill. Especially enjoyed the view by the river and it being "dog friendly ". I had a yummy Italian Beef sandwich with fries and my lunch mate had the roast beef stew sandwich. The Italian Beef sandwich came with au jus for dipping. Both sandwiches were delicious and very filling. I recommend dining here.

Recommended by friend. Dined outside with our dachsie. Staff brought out a bowl of water for her immediately. Has more than dining depending on the day. Live music, outdoor games.... With the Rock River alongside. They have a dock for your boat. We both ordered the fried chicken. Mouth watering, juicy meat with crunchy texture. A lot to eat.

Ive been waiting an hour for my food i ordered two appetizers im so hungry oh my god im so hungry my stomach hurts i wasnt even hungry when i got here thats how long ive been waiting IM SO HUNGRY ITS BEEN OVER AN HOUR

Went to the rock bar and Grill for our 55th class reunion local high school Turner waitress was absolutely fabulous. Food was delicious and it was very beautiful sitting outside by the river. It was a warm summer night and we had a lovely evening, couldn't ask for better food, service or ambience

Does this place have new owners? Ordered a $13.99 mushroom Swiss and it didn't even come with fries. Yes I ordered a $2.50 cup of soup that I paid for separately. This is the second time I've been there in two weeks and was rushed out the door by getting the bill half way through a beer. Now I have to find a new place to go to for lunch bc I'm not paying $14 for a sandwich and no fries and also getting the check without having a couple beers. F this place.

I had the deep fried cod w/au gratin potatoes. Fish was under done & au gratins was nothing more that has browns wth some cheese spred on top. Tasteless. My husband had the dep fried cod w/ potato pancakes.Cod again was under done & potato pancakes were nothing more than some tasteless hasbrowns mixed some egg batter. Granddaughter ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. Order came out a ceasar wrap & sent it back. Then to top this off we got the wrong bill. Seems they got their head up their backside. Thiswas at 1PM & place was not that busy. Their remodel job looks great but they need to work on someone in the kitchen that can cook.

Service was poor. Not busy....had to wait too long multiple times and server not that friendly. Food was ok. Had broiled and fried cod. The broiled was a little watery. The ambiance was nice being outside by the river. A disappointing experience.

Sad to say tonights experience was less than expected. Our server Mia did not welcome us or even smile. My husband asked to taste a certain beer and she brought a glass of it, when I said he asked for a taster she just shrugged. No oops I'm sorry. It went down hill from there. We've been coming to The Rock since it open, actually live right down the street, never been treated this way.
