The Roadhouse at KBII

Yesterday, three friends and myself stopped by Kelly's for some drinks and had one of the most disgusting experiences. One of us was wearing a mask, for personal reasons, even tho it's state mandated and we all should, she was the only one including the workers(we did not say anything about no one else wearing a mask). We ordered a drink and could tell the bartender was having a hard time serving us because of the mask. She proceeded to tell my friend she needed to educate herself and that she will not die if she takes it off. (so glad to know a wind lake bartender is "educating" customers and giving out medical advice.) We continued to tell her its a personal preference but she threw a piece of paper at her with lists of reasons NOT to wear a mask. Meanwhile, the owner is standing there and condoning the entire experience.I understand everyone has their own beliefs, but no one in our group was making a big deal about people not wearing a mask. I can't believe someone, especially an employee & an owner, would make a customer feel so uncomfortable about actually wearing one. We immediately left.

Our group came here to play volleyball on Sunday. You can rent your own courts for $30/ court per hour. The staff were very accommodating, providing us with a large cooler for water - even though we passed, because it tasted a little funky.There are daily specials, on Sunday it was all you can eat crab legs for $25.95. We didn't take up on this special, but our group ordered sandwiches, appetizers, and pizzas and everyone was generally happy. The drink service is friendly. We ordered the soft pretzel which was really good! It was huge, bigger than the size of the tallest guys' hands, not sure if it was made in house. It was a bit pricey for $10.The place is really set up to entertain. There's a stage with dance floors, four pool tables, and arcade games located by the bar. As we were leaving we couldn't help but notice the enticing aroma of their wings. Even though it was not on special, many patrons were happily gnawing on them as we were walking out. We'll have to try them next time!

Love the wings but could not be more disappointed and disgusted with the smokehouse brisket and rack of pork ribs!! Tasted like reheated meat without a trace of smoke. Dry and awful. $50 for three gross meals! I should of known better when I saw only 2 tables occupied at 7 pm on a Friday ......

I had the best salad at the roadhouse last night. The pulled pork on top was also excellent. I would definitely like to try all their smoked meats. They have a large amount of beers on tap too. Everyone liked their meals too. I will go back!

Went there Saturday to watch a live band. Food was excellent. The venue and service was outstanding. Dave the manager came over to our table multiple times throughout the evening to make sure everything was satisfactory. Not a lot of places seem to care about their customers, but Dave and Kelly's definitely do. Even Kelly the owner checked on us. Definitely recommend.

As someone that works in service I am always impressed when I see a company doing it so well. Everything from the quality of the food to the selection of beer and great entertainment, Kelly is doing it right!

Just placed an order for 2 chicken tacos and 1 chicken Burrito and 1 beef 1/2 nacho. Picked it up on my way to a friends house 20 min away. Get there and its a chicken 1/2 nacho. Wife called to tell them it was a chicken and the same lady that took the order answered the phone and said" it was supposed to be beef". Asked if we wanted to bring it back for a beef, no we are 20 min away at this point. Said she was sorry and she will let the kitchen know. $10.00 for something I didnt want there was a time when they would put your name on a list (because mistakes do happen) and discount your next order or something. Times have changed thats for sure.

We've been here multiple, dare I say uncountable times on Thursdays for the surprisingly wonderful rib dinner special. Tonight was different. We've experienced both good and bad service, and if it was bad they stepped up and addressed it. Tonight there was some confusion on the drink order to start things off, but then things went from that to exceptional. I don't expect fine-dining attention on an $11.99 full-rack rib dinner night but tonight we got it! The food was delicious as it has been 99% of the time, and the service was a pleasant "welcome back to Wisconsin" after almost a week out of state! Job well done, again.

Place is huge!!! Great service, great food!!!Just had the baked walleye, cooked perfect and seasoned just right!!! Love Monday's taco night, lots of specials, bands, babes!!! Thanks Kelly!!!

Another sad example of doing it all wrong. First and last time going to this restaurant. The first sign which should of gave us a heads up on what was in store for our party of seven was how dirty the restaurant was. Besides all our meals came cold and dried out. Several people ordered the barbecue sampler plate which was brisket, pulled pork and ribs. The pulled pork and brisket was "cold" to the touch. The ribs which also came cold and had what seemed to be several cup's of sauce on it was there only to hide the dried out ribs. The side salad had black on the welted old lettuce as well as being gritty, which is a sign that the lettuce was not washed. We highly recommend passing on this place. Can't believe the positive reviews are actually people who have dined there and more so written by staff or owners. Photos enclosed.
