Great food and great service. They're doing a little renovation but it didn't take away from the enjoyable breakfast. Good job.

We stopped in here on our way back home after a wedding. This spot is a stereotypical midwest diner, that looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1980s...I remember going to places like this in Round Lake IL when I was younger. They looked exactly like this spot. Service was very nice, but that's about where the good things end.We ordered: Cheese curds: Bland and boring, and kind of a let down for Wisconsin. Buffalo Wings: They're boneless, fyi. This is not on the menu. The sauce was good, but why are all "wings" in the midwest defaulted to Boneless? Legitimately, this was the 3rd place that this happened, only this one didn't specify it on their menu, and we weren't told they were boneless when we ordered. Big bummer. We wanted wings, not nuggets. French dip with jus, fries, and a cup of soup. Everything was bland, including the jus. The French fries were the most flavorful of everything. The pesto veggie wrap: I had high hopes for this, but there was hardly any pesto, it was more of an olive oil, and WAY too much feta. Definitely not a place I'd plan to return to if I'm in the area.

Good news? Our waitress was sweet and made sure you had your coffee filled and food out and ready. For once, our food was good and warm. We left a good tip.Bad news, the owner is beyond rude. My husband has lived here his whole life, has never done anything to the man, and yet treats my hubby like trash. If you're looking for work there, don't. They don't pay enough and they're disrespectful to the waitresses especially. I've only gone here a handful of times in my life and I've never been fully impressed with the place. Most of the breakfast restaurants in Monroe are bad anyway, so you'd be better off googling a recipe for the food you're craving for and get better results.

A good breakfast place and can accommodate 14 people we had with no problem. Very nice serving staff and cheap (I live in Chicago).I had a Hawaiian parfait which was yogurt, pieces of pineapple and strawberries in a half of pineapple. It was quite good.

My sister and I had delicious Julienne salads. Everything was so fresh! The young server was really attentive and friendly. Great experience!

The service is very fast and great food. . they have the best breakfast. Try their Denver omelet you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is nice and clean.

My siblings and I eat lunch there every Friday. No matter who is our server they are always friendly. Since we are regulars they all know our orders as well.

So, 2nd chance tonight. Nope, still horrible food. Waitress was great and said management doesn't listen to her concerns or complaints from customers. We ordered the steak sandwich. Burnt, soaked bun and texture of a used Nike. When the owner doesn't have pride in his restraunt or food, nobody.
