The Outpost

Love this place. They have excellent servers and bartenders. Food is great. I would recommend their pizzas and Friday Night Fish Fry. Salad bar is always well stocked and their homemade soups are delicious. They also open early on Sundays to serve omelets, which are huge and very good. It also comes with a breakfast bar that has French toast sticks, bacon, breakfast potatoes, etc. Lastly, they have the best ranch!

Good selection of food, something for everyone. Service was timely, sufficient servers and bartenders. The rustic setting of the Outpost adds to the enjoyment of time spent eating and drinking there

The Outpost has continued to be solid the past several times we've either eaten there, or ordered food to go. Updating my review to 4 stars, keep up the good work!

Always good, but you better get there early on Friday night. We had a single pan fried walleye and a double deep fried walleye. Both were excellent but too much for my husband. Next time he'll get a single portion.

Stopped by for lunch and discovered a great menu and really good food. Had the southwest wrap with homemade potato salad and also tried the spicy chili. Everything was excellent. Potato salad was definitely homemade and the spicy chili was...get this...actually spicy ! Fresh food, good portions, great flavor, great service. I will be back.

Seems to be our choice when visiting family in Appleton. We did the special Sunday brunch and would highly suggest it so fun to watch the owner cook up the omelette station. The bloody Mary bar was true Wisconsin. We will definitely return.

The service was friendly, but slow. The food was mediocre. They list a dish as having crab in it, but serve imitation crab. It's not even quality fake crab. The place is full of Trump paraphernalia, and the customers are who you'd expect from that. I didn't feel comfortable there with all the stares, whispers, and some of the symbols worn by them. This didn't affect my star rating, but I would've liked to have known this before I went, so I wanted to mention it.

This is one of the few places all my kids are ok going to BUT we walked out today because the waitress was not wearing a mask and the bartender had hers at her chin. We should have expected as much because there was a very passive aggressive sign on the door stating that because of the governor they had to have a sign about masking on the front door. Will not be back unless we want to join in the COVID fun.

Political opinions shouldn't be advertised outside the business and they didn't take precautions during Covid. I do miss their food.

Great bar with great food, awesome food deals depending on what day. Wings, tacos and so on... staff has always been friendly and fast.Price is great for portions too.
