It was a Packers Friday night in Wisconsin so a fish fry was calling! My wife and I headed to The Orville to try something new. We went early (5:00pm) so we could be home to watch the game. We got seated right away in the homey dining room. This restaurant is in and older building and is nicely finished. We started with the cheese curds as we had heard they were very good. They were gooey, salty and delicious with a dipping sauce that was delicious. We recommended them to the table next to us as it was their first visit as well and they agreed!. I ordered one of their craft cocktails, the Toasted Old Fashioned. I am used to a typical "Wisconsin Old Fashioned" and this drink seemed a little small. But what it lacked in volume it made up in taste! My wife had a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. We both ordered the fish fry and I also got a cup of the clam chowder. The soup was hot and tasty and the fish fry was exactly what we wanted. We both had leftovers because we were feeling full from the appetizer. But the meal was fantastic! I believe our server was Karly and she did a great job as well. Very attentive. We had an excellent experience and were home in time for kickoff. We will definitely be back to The Orville![Photo credit to Google]

Stopped by to celebrate a birthday in the family. As my first time here, I was delighted with my overall experience. The building is historic, which always is a plus in my book and its quaint and charming inside, with just the right mix of modern + vintage. Service was great and food was delicious. We were a group of 5 and opted for 4 appetizers which was the right amount of pre-dinner treats. The cheese curds were delicious! They were little triangles and SO good. We also had the grilled shrimp, steak, tartare, and the burrata, which I definitely would order again. For dinner I opted for the filet mignon which was the perfect size and cooked to perfection. We selected the carrot cake for dessert, which was good, but different as it had a citrus spin to it. This is a little gem in West Bend, would definitely visit again for a nice night out!

We went here for the first time this evening to celebrate our anniversary. I've heard nothing but good reviews and now I know why. I had the Violet Hour cocktail and it was unbelievably tasty - the perfect blend of sweetness and lemon. The cheese curds with dill ranch were delicious. My husband had the filet, which was tender and cooked to perfection. I had the roasted chicken which came with a mushroom and spinach pasta. The combination was heavenly. The staff offered us free dessert for our anniversary. We went with the chocolate tart with sea salt and carmel drizzle. It was one of the best desserts I've ever tasted. To top it off, Mal, our server, was funny and delightful. She provided excellent suggestions, made us laugh, and took excellent care of us all night. The staff even gave us a card before we left. If you want exceptional food, drinks and service, treat yourself to The Orville!

The building is extremely beautiful with its old charm. The service was amazing, our server (Rachel?) made sure to explain the menu, answer any questions we have, get anything we need and give us time to relax! The food was all so delicious! Of course, we got fish on this marvelous Friday.. which was tasty and the tartar sauce was very good. The Cole slaw was different but in a good way! We also tried their cheese curds which were some of the best I've had! The breading was light and flaky, even the ranch was delicious! I would definitely recommend, and visit again if ever in the area again!

Excellent food, good surroundings, very good service. Both of our meals were outstanding. I will say it was uncomfortable inside, very warm. But not enough to make us leave.

We really enjoyed the ambience at the OrvilleWe sat upstairs and had a great view of the war memorial across the street .We had some of the best food that we had enjoyed recently. Both of our entrées were excellent. Unfortunately, it was super cold inside the building, and the manager refused to raise the temperature to a comfortable setting. Other patrons in the area were wearing their coats zipped up as was I. The Desert we had was carrot cake. The frosting was delicious, but the cake itself was dry and crumbly and very disappointing. Overall I thought it was a good place to eat with the above mentioned caveats.
