The Night Owl Food and Spirits

We were seated outside for dinner. I had to go inside and ask someone to come out and take our order. Ordered margaritas and when they came they were awful. Waiter said "we ran out of margarita mix" after they were brought. So we asked instead for a certain red wine on the menu. Waiter said "we ran out of that wine". Then ordered a steak and baked potato. And guess what??? They "ran out of baked potatoes". Who is doing the ordering for this restaurant??? There were less than 7 tables seated during this time but we spend TWO hours here having dinner. Slow service, a waiter who didn't know what they had or didn't have, and a cook who doesn't know the difference between medium and well done. First and last visit to this restaurant.

We stopped in town to find a card shop only to find out it had closed. We found this place and decided to give it a try! We had blackened chicken wrap, ranch wrap with chicken, grilled cheese, pork tacos, and a burger!! Everything was fantastic! It's a big place inside with out door seating. The service was good too. Would definitely recommend it and stop again when in town.

Friday Fish fry take out.Very good fish, prepared well. Nice sized pieces, lightly coated, great flavor. I had twice baked potato and the slaw. Both were excellent. Plenty to eat and priced fairly. One of my new favorites.

Went to Evansville on an errand. And decided to have dinner. We hadn't been to The Night Owl, so we gave it a try. Inside the building is airy and open with plenty of TVs for sports fans and a nice restaurant area away from the bar area. I started with the lasagna soup, I was glad the waitress told me about it because it was OUT of the World. I ordered the shaved prime Rib sandwich with little red potatoes. The meat was tasty, and the bun was deliciously soft. The whole meal was a wonderful surprise. We will certainly be back.

Got takeout from here on a Friday night and was pretty impressed that the order was ready within 30 minutes of calling, especially because the parking lot was packed when we showed up to pickup the order. Pickup was pretty easy as we just went in, said the name it was under, paid, and were on our way. I have to say, I can't wait to be vaccinated so that I feel comfortable enough eating and watching games at the restaurant. It looks like it will be a great sports bar to hang out at.As for the food, we ordered the blackened chicken & cucumber wrap, the fried bologna ala e'ville, a fish fry, and the bavarian burger. We also ordered an appetizer of cheesecurds as I'm still on the hunt for the best. I will say these reminded me of the ones that are at my hometown Fun Days, except less salty. I would definitely recommend them, especially because they have many different sauce options, like a chipotle ranch! The blackened chicken wrap wasn't quite as spicy as I would have liked for blackened, but it had a good taste. I got the beer fries with it which were nice and crisp. The bologna ala e'ville was a surprising treat and the only real note of criticism was that it was all one texture. I think it would have been better if the bread would have been toasted with less butter, so it was a little more crunchy. The fish fry was also well received. The bavarian burger was well-sized and was very flavorful, although my friend did say that he really didn't taste the sauerkraut all that much. He ordered the regular fries with the burger and we were surprised that the regular fries were much longer and wider than the beer fries. They too were crisp and well received.Overall, pretty good food and pickup experience. I can't wait to go back when they have trivia.

The blue devil burger is amazing but once I had their crispy chicken wrap, my son and I get it almost every time. Almost. Sometimes we get the prime rib melt.

The food is always quality, and fresh! Servers and bartenders are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They have 2 different sections to sit in, if you want a bar vibe, the bar area is homey, but still pretty upscale. If you want a sit down area, their dining area is nice as well!

This place was better. Food is alright. Soup isn't soup, more like stuffing. Fries were soggy and cold since they messing up my wrap so they probably were sitting there for a while. My wrap was good though

If zero was a choice I would have rated as zero. Walked in and asked for a table. Sat down straight away. Then waited 10 minutes for anyone to ask about drinks or take an order. Nothing. Watched several tables around us get served still not one waitress stopped by. After 10 more minutes we took our business to another better restaurant. This place is over priced and not well run.

We have never been disappointed at the Night Owl. The food is great, the service friendly, and the atmosphere enjoyable.
