The Meat Market

Stopped by here to pick up some meats for a friends/family trip up in Warrens. They have a grilling bundle we paid $80 for, and it came with: - 12 brats - 4 chicken quarters - 5 pork chops - 6 bacon cheddar brat burgers - 3 regular brat burgers - 9 burgersThe exact numbers will vary depending how much your stuff weighs, and it's a good idea to call ahead to confirm the price (it's not on their website) and reserve your stuff for pickup. Overall, not a bad haul! We got there an hour before close and the bag was already ready for us. The meats come frozen so be sure to plan for that. We had a cooler bag with us, but they sell the disposable ones in store if you need one.It was enough for dinner for 12 adults and a whole litter of kids, with some meat to spare still (though we had done a lot of snacking while the food was cooking). It was the perfect package for our weekend getaway and will hit them up again if we're headed up north.

Very friendly helpful staff. Variety of different cuts of pork beef and chicken. Wish they sold rabbit. Take a variety of payment options. Will even help you choose or will choose for you the best cuts if you tell them what its for. Ie: for a steak loving kid like mine but me having no idea what the types of cuts were they chose the best type not the most expensive one for her.

We came up to Lake Delton for the weekend from Chicago. It was our first time in town and weren't familiar with any butcher shops in the area. The Meat Market caught our eye as we were driving through town and boy did we get lucky. This place is awesome!!!!! Really good selection and everything we got was so good. We even grabbed some more on the way out of town and some pig ears for the dogs. Highly recommend stopping by and picking some stuff up to throw on the grill.

Sometimes the meat is great most of the time it's chewy. Nothing special and considering they're not running specials I don't need to shop there.

My beloved loves "Ring Liver Sausage". I think it's a guy thing like Spam. It's something that we have found in the Wisconsin Northwoods and were hoping to find in the Dells area. I had asked about this "very Wisconsin" product in a couple of the local deli's. Finally, due to circumstances beyond my control, I found myself in the Dells SuperWalmart. One of the butchers was restocking the shelf when I asked him if he knew where I could find this male delicacy. With a little glint in his eye, he said--"Go to The Meat Market, next to Howie's. A couple of boys from Baraboo have set up shop, you'll find what you're looking for there." And,indeed I did! And, more! Beautiful cuts of meat (real butcher shop cuts), a packed freezer case of homemade soups, side dishes, sausages and other Wisconsin type stuff. And, there on the third shelf, my husband found nirvana--Ring Liver Sausage. Yes, life is good--very good. At least for my husband. I won't kiss him for a couple hours after he eats that stuff!

Always exceptional service and food products at both Locations, Lake Delton or Baraboo. It always smells so good upon entering! Very Clean store and great fresh meat!

Great service and selection of fresh meats. Excellent cooler goods as well. Had all the sauces, buns and rubs we needed for our cookout.

The best local meat without organic pricing. The award winning home made sausage is definitely delicious and worth the trip to the store. Anytime we're visiting WI we're stopping here for their slab bacon and home made sausage. Both locations are wonderful.
