Girls giggling behind counter was very annoying since it seemed they may have been making fun of a customer. No one knew for sure so it was like being waited on by immature 3rd graders. Very unprofessional! Train your help to be grown up when serving the public. Liked the protein sticks but sometimes they look moldy on the ends. Loved the bacon! So in summary, meats great, protein sticks a little iffy looking and the help was childish.

This is a smalltown (5546 people) butcher. They have a smoker, that puts out some of the best smoked goodies I have ever had. Must try the jerky. I'm, hooked on their bacon, cherry wood smoked ham, Filets, Strip steaks, Ribeyes, country style ribs, ground chuck, chicken breasts, and the in house made Italian sausage!This is the only place I buy meat from in the area. They are local owned, family owned, friendly people. They will custom cut your steaks for you. And if you hunt, they will process your deer!

We came here on the recommendation that the meat sticks looked good - when we arrived, that was proved totally correct. Seriously good snack sticks, and super friendly staff too.I'm only in the area one week a year, and this has been added to my list of must visit local institutions. A real treat!

The smell of smoked meat from outside is enough of a reason to go in!If I lived here, I'm sure this would be my go-to place for a steak - the meat all looked amazing. As it was, we just had a meat stick and it was delicious. I was eyeing up the bacon too but didn't get any, and now I feel a bit dumb as I bet it's good!

I went to get some Italian beef and try it before ordering more for Christmas. It was simply delicious! I have found my go-to place for great quality meat.

I am a California customer because I hunt deer in their area. Russel Sr. and Russel Jr. have always been very accommodating concerning my need for a quick turnaround. This place was recommended by a local and I am pleased with their packaging and clean facility. They are a family operation that employs a small staff. They have expanded their operation and the business is good because of a loyal following. I take my deer there every year because I know they will take care of me. Their meat case contains fresh good looking meats.

Wow! Was up in the area on business for the day - having an affinity towards local businesses i stopped in and glad I did. They were making fresh Brats and i took home a variety of them. Without a doubt the best I've ever had and several varieties too! Just wished they were closer!

Your mouth starts watering the second you walk in the door, the folks helping you were very nice and very helpful. Great selection of fresh and smoked meats. We drove 100 miles to come here and we'll do it again.

ive taken my deer here for several years. just picked up my venison for this year. when I got home and put it in the freezer I found very few steaks. All I asked for was steaks and burger. what I found was 3 small package's of venison chops. I took in a 2 1/2 year old deer shot in the heart. When I called to question why I was told the deer must have been smaller than I thought and I got back what I brought in. When I gave the information the owner said I was accusing them of stealing meat. informed him that's not what I'm saying and listen to the facts . Hunters know even a fawn would have more chops in the back straps. i asked him if he was okay with losing a long time customer and the bad reviews I will write. Maybe it's time to see what the IRS has to say about the all cash transactions.
