Consistently excellent meat, fish, chicken. We will not purchase anywhere but here, really great staff, fantastic selection and consistently delicious!

I have learned a long time ago to keep a cooler in the trunk for when you find a cool place unexpectedly. I'm always looking on Yelp for local meat market places when I'm out and about because I'm always looking for meat sticks #1 and #2 anything else that catches my eye.This place is pretty nice with good looking fresh meats, cheeses, meat sticks, sausages, hams and everything else. Jack pot, habanero beef snack sticks which will do because I'm always looking for hot snack sticks. A nice ham steak caught my eye because a good ham steak with breakfast is always nice breakfast. This was a nice find and I'm glad I stopped because breakfast will be good with that ham.

Tried to give them another chance went there several times to get steaks. Once I asked if they had any specials going apparently daring to ask questions is an affront to there tough steaks. Everytime the steaks are flavorless and tough. I'm miss the meat market in Urbana-Champaign where they sold quality beef. They were also great full to get your business. The steaks at Walmart are a hundred times better and I hate going to Walmart.

I like to source local meat while out camping. We stumbled upon this market some years back while near Devil's Lake and have been back a few times. What's better than a freshly cut ribeye over open flame? Check the freezer for other cuts to take home!They do have a nice selection of custom brats and other specialty items.You can't go wrong buying from a place with a huge cow on the roof.

Worth the trip from Madison, for the prices, quality and meat.- Fresh cuts.- Able to season or not be seasoned- Beef, Pork, Chicken and some much more I cannot remember as I think back.My hubs buys their jerky and raves, but I'm all about the meat.Their friendly customer service makes the process from start to finish better than the grocery store.

We always bring a case of their regular seasoning home because it is awesome and not overpowering - always lets the quality of the meat shine through.Must-have item here that I haven't had in years: the beef jerky.Wednesday they are closed for slaughter and I highly recommend ordering some for Thurs or Fri pickup b/c they tend to run out by the weekend during the summer months when all us crazy city-folk come barging through town.Excellent variety of meat and pleasant service - a great Midwestern business!

This place has been a Baraboo institution for as long as I can remember. Significantly more expensive than supermarkets in town, so not a place to shop for your everyday fair, but if you want a steakhouse quality piece of meat, this place has no rival. They are closed on Wednesdays (for slaughtering) and Sunday. I am surprised this place doesn't get more Yelp attention. If you are in Baraboo area looking for high quality meat for your cookout, this is the only place to stop.

It's a pleasure spending my time and money here. They have never disappointed me. The price is right, and the quality can't be beat.

Never again, they will never get my business. Ordered half hog. Very low quality meat. Mostly fat and selective cut missing. Weird after taste. Big mistake and waste of money ordering from here. I believe the high reviews are fake.
