The Ivy House

I've been to the Ivy House at least a dozen times over the past few years for various events ranging from Milwaukee Makers Markets to wedding receptions to private dinners, and my experience is always excellent!The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the venue is beautifully decorated and always very clean. I would recommend Ivy House as a great venue for any special event.

We attended a wedding here, so we have a limited view, but from the perspective of a wedding guest, it was excellent! Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, huge bars, plentiful restrooms, and very beautiful plants all over the place! Very much worth a look as a wedding venue!

I've only been to the ivy house for events that they've hosted or put on, not for a wedding. However especially during the summer- they make sure to use the most out of their space when it's not being used. Whether it's patio daze, food truck festivals, salsa dancing or farmers markets- ivy house knows how to make their space and presence known. Great bartenders, staff, and events. Can't wait to see what else they do this summer!

We got married at The Ivy House on April 16, 2022. We cannot give Ivy House enough praise! Ivy House exceeded our expectations. We plan on attending all of their summer events because we are so bummed our wedding is over. I came across this venue early in my planning stages. I fell in love with it before I even saw it in person. We're also fans of Walker's Point neighborhood so that was another plus. We intended on a summer wedding originally, but this is a popular venue that books far out in advance. They only had a date in April & October. The April date happened to be our six year anniversary, so we took this as a sign!Abby showed us the venue originally, but did not end up being our event manager. We really liked Abby so this bummed us out, but we were more than happy with who ended up being our event manager. Sarah is AMAZING!!!! (Honestly, I don't think there is a single person working there that isn't.) Sarah was helpful from the minute we met her, and continued to be for every aspect of our wedding. She responded to everything in a timely manner, and with such reassurance and positivity, that it calmed me down in my most stressful moments. I need to move on with this review, otherwise I won't stop gushing about her.Everybody who worked our event was truly terrific. The bartenders whipped up lots of our signature cocktails and were extremely diligent to anyone with a special role in the wedding (bride, groom, wedding party, parents, etc.). Special shout out to our favorite bartender, Nick! Everything about this venue is gorgeous - from the live ivy plants to the huge bridal suite we all thoroughly enjoyed. My bridesmaids and I were able to use the suite throughout the day and arrive very early to start the getting ready process. The outside patio was a great additional space for people to enjoy later at night. Our ceremony space was everything I envisioned it to be. Everyone involved in set-up and tear-down did an exceptional job. There are a lot of moving parts in a big wedding, and the Ivy House staff is exactly who you want by your side to make it all happen. We are still sad our wedding is over because it was truly the most magical day of our lives. Anyone thinking about it, get married here. THANK YOU IVY HOUSE - WE ARE OBSESSED!

I was recently here in celebration for a wedding. The venue is beautiful with modern touches. There is plenty of indoor space and a nice outdoor patio. There's additional rooms where the bride and groom parties were able to setup without any issue. The staff were spectacular and were very accommodating. Overall great experience and a great place to make memories.

My daughter had her wedding here 8/26/2020. Absolutely perfect wedding ! The venue is beautiful, DJ was fantastic ( dance floor was packed all night long) our event planner was wonderful (thanks Abby).

The Ivy House is a phenomenal venue! Both indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely. Outdoor Patio is huge and equipped with a bar and serene setting. The inside is stunning with center lit chandelier, up lighting, plants, cream city brick and a large modern bar. It cuts down on any decoration costs because it's beautiful as is! There is also a sweet penthouse that can be used as a bridal suite, vip lounge, etc. It's equipped with a bathroom, changing area, full kitchen with fridge and oven and a hangout area with couches. A huge plus to this venue - parking lot. It's extremely hard to find a nice venue in Milwaukee that has parking. On top of the space being great, the staff is so helpful and fun to work with. Ramsey made booking the space a breeze and tried to make all of our requests work. Marina was our day of event coordinator and she is on top of her stuff. Extremely responsive via text or email the week leading up to the event. Any questions were answered immediately. On event day, she helped the event go off without a hitch. The rest of the on site staff made it fun to be there. Such a great crew to work with!

We are event florist in Chicago North suburbs.. we did a wedding for dear friends this lastWeekend at this perfect place! We have been all over Chicago and suburbs and bye far this is the kindest, well run , clean , runs like a well oiled machine! If you are looking for a fun space grab this up ! Don't bother with a wedding planner ect! The folks here have you covered!! You won't go wrong booking them!!!

We had our wedding at the Ivy House this past memorial weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We could not have picked a better venue. The space is absolutely beautiful when you are in attendance and stunning in photographs. Aside from aesthetics this is the best crew a bride and groom could ask for. From the first meeting with Tyler to the day of everything went exactly the way we wanted to. Nothing was ever a problem or out of the question. They were great to consult with, they listened, they had great ideas and they made our dream wedding come true. Also they hooked us up with the best DJ we could have asked for (Aaron Cleavland @ Milwaukee Airwaves - seriously he played every thing we wanted, plus hits and did all the right edits and managed the reception perfectly. Plus we really loved having coffee with him and getting to know him before the wedding). It's difficult to summarize all of the great things about Tyler and the Ivy House without going on for 3 pages but as someone that is just wrapping up the wedding planning portion of my life I'll say this - there are a lot of unknowns, a lot of questions, a lot of pressure coming from every direction. Weddings are like the biggest party you've ever thrown and sometimes with the stress it's easy to forget that. Tyler never let us forget that. When I think of our perfect day we owe so much of it to The Ivy House. If you are getting married in Milwaukee or Wisconsin this place is definitely an absolute must to tour and meet the people behind the operation. 10/10 - would get married here again.

We got married at the Ivy House in May 2022, and it was an absolute dream venue! The space speaks for itself - it's beautiful! But the staff and other details set our wedding above the top. Matt was our coordinator, and he could not have been more amazing!!! Our parents and bridal party are STILL (4 months later) talking about how amazing he was. He was refreshing everyone's drinks, taking care of every detail, being our personal hype man, and handling everything with the biggest smile! Having Matt as our coordinator truly made it so that we could enjoy the wedding and not worry about a single thing! We also were able to do pretty much the entire ceremony and reception (minus dinner) outside! The dancing outside was an absolute game changer. Our guests still cannot stop talking about how much it set our wedding apart! We could not have had a more beautiful day - thanks to the Ivy House !!!
