Growing up in the area my parents and I were curious to see The Hub Studio Cafe as we remember going to Laacks when the grocery store was still there. This is a small space designed for small gatherings - I wouldn't recommend bringing your party of twelve for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You order at the counter - I'd love to see this switch to table service but understand that staffing may prevent that. The food was delicious. My mom and I both had the Moo Melt - great blend of flavors, lots of cheese. Possibly a bit too much cheese as it overwhelms the beef. My dad had the Chris' Lunch Sammie and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had a cup of soup and a salad and enjoyed both. We finished our meal with the salted caramel white chocolate chip cookies - don't skip these! Overall this was a delicious meal and we would stop again. I do think the prices are a bit high for the location; lunch (three sandwiches and a cup of soup/salad) for four people without anything to drink besides water was over $60. This is Johnsonville and that seems high for the area. It won't stop us from going back but it is something to be aware of before you go.

Nice little place for a quiet lunch. Service was good and my food came fast. There is a little art boutique right next door. Music not to loud, no problems carrying out a conversation.

I came here for lunch - I'm not sure if maybe my meal was just a little off - but my panini was super soggy. It was almost like the bread had been warmed in the microwave instead of pressed. I had the cheddar melt - the sandwich itself was flavorful, and had it not been soggy I probably would have rated it a way higher. Unfortunately, I the sandwich was soggy and the bread was coming apart so I could barely eat half :(. I also had the broccoli cheddar soup which was flavorful but the portion size was small. I love small local places such as the Hub and that they use local ingredients - I would definitely go back again and try other menu items in hopes that this was a one off. I did not try their coffee, but they did have a vast menu - would definitely give that a try in the future. Also, the atmosphere was awesome! A nice quiet place to get work done.

Great coffee and bakery items! Highly recommended! My favorites are the cold brew, muffins, and oatmeal. Cute atmosphere if hanging out inside for a while. Small patio out back for nice weather.

The Hub offers excellent food, beverages, and atmosphere! A great place for a meal or to sit with a cozy latte and get some work done. Their service is wonderful and the owner really has a passion for what she does. It is so great to support small, locally owned businesses.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR EVENT AT THIS PLACE!!! SUE (the owner) is the biggest pain you'll ever meet! We were there for an "all ages" cornhole tournament, she came around and said that no one under the age of 21 can be in the building/property without a parent/guardian, which is false because we've been to this hall for other cornhole tournaments with citizens of all ages previously and not a word was said! She walked around, harassed every person and all our children about where their parents were, made them all wear wristbands so they couldn't purchase alcohol. Mind you, she put wristbands on 2 year old children! Apparently the ones that know how to order drinks from a bar! Secondly, she stated we couldn't bring in our own water bottles yet had no bottled water for purchase on a 80+ degree day with over 100+ cornhole players and that's not including spectators. She said we disrespected the bar by having children there (since they're not 21), so do not bring your children! It is not a family friendly venue! Food is so mediocre and you're better off grilling on your own. Such a shame that she cared more about harassing every patron instead of creating more business for herself during the event and in the future. Do yourself a favor and cancel Laack's and The Hub Studio which is located above the hall. She should NOT be owning a business!

The bakery is all made in house I recommend the double chocolate Irish cream muffin. If you feel your drink is off this is the one place you can go and completely get your drink fixed worry free. Family owned and run. Great people. Great coffee. Must go place if you enjoy a good coffee.
