The Hub - Social Good Brews

A nice addition to the downtown area of West Bend. Ideally situated on the edge of downtown and near the Art Museum. The Hub is in an easy to access area, although I think the community as a whole is under aware of the current tennants within the building. That entire corner of West Bend is under utilized and I hope all the businesses in that area market together to create a cultural draw to the area.The Hub has reasonably priced flavorful drinks and much more of a hometown feel than the conglomerate coffeehouse chain store. Many drink offerings from coffee, tea, hot chocolate & cider.They have a small selection of muffins/pastries and I was told they have a lunch soup available. Unfortunately there aren't any breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I think to truly establish themselves as a mainstay they need to add a little to the dining options. The location is somewhat hampered by not having the convenience of a drive thru window. The adjoining art studio/store add to The Hub charm. I wish them well and hope they become embraced by the community.

The Hub is such a cool little coffee shop! The staff is friendly and welcoming. & the coffee is always top of the line!

I love the atmosphere, coffee and food options, and mission of The Hub. They are a full service coffee bar with hot and cold espresso drinks, wide selection of hot teas, iced tea, cold brew and drip coffee, two chai tea lattes, and matcha lattes. You want it? They can probably make it! There is also a wonderful daily bakery selection, oatmeal, soup, and several quiche options. The Hub is part of the Volunteer Center of Washington County and staffed primarily by well-trained volunteers. Each week the tip jar is shared with area non-profits making a huge impact - over $19,000 given since opening earlier this year. All this in a trendy, relaxed atmosphere.Full disclosure: I am a volunteer here, but I do come in as a customer several times a week.

Came back in on my last trip to Wisconsin - the whole place smelled so so bad of something burning (plastic? A grill after it's been cleaned?..) we had to leave immediately. We would've maybe gotten something to go but the people behind the counter were too busy chatting with another customer to take another order. Oh well. Just another reason to drink coffee and tea at home.

What a delightful place in West Bend! We stumbled across The Hub and had the most delicious drinks. Nice, clean espresso shots and several plant based milks. This place has a nice atmosphere and we were more than pleased with our drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Local. Nonprofit. Coffee. Great Atmosphere. The Hub is a great place to gather with anyone for a cup of coffee and conversation. Knowing your money and donations are always going to a good cause makes this coffee shop great for the community of West Bend. Having said that, I am not a huge fan of the coffee. I like my coffee black, flavorful, but not overpowered by bitterness. The baked items however, delicious! Another bonus to the Hub is that it's connected to the Gallery of Wisconsin Art, which means you can enjoy your coffee while walking through the beautiful gallery space next door!

I'm gonna sum it up short. The service was amazing, the coffee was amazing, the workers were amazing, and the atmosphere was amazing. This place is all run by volunteers which is super cool and creates a really nice place to hang out.

Come.to try this new place in West Bend called the Hub. Glad I did, I'm not into all that hipster Starbucks (sucks) type of place but my wife made me try it out and I'm glad I did. They have friendly service, nice atmosphere, and hey a Keto breakfast sandwich which i was pleasantly surprised because I am currently on the Keto lifestyle. They actually make a real keto bagel breakfast sandwich. Finally a restaurant stepping up to the plate to cater to all patrons. Thank you HUB

Coffee for a cause! Not only will you feel good because you're drinking coffee but you'll also feel great about your purchase. Proceeds support the important work of the Volunteer Center and the tip jar gets shared with a different nonprofit each week. I highly recommend the lavender latte or vanilla bean latte and the quiche is fantastic!

I can honestly say after my first and only time (so far) coming here, I will be coming back many many more times! The muffin was excellent (warmed up and everything!) and the coffee was delicious! I would much rather get a cup of coffee and a treat and have that money go back into the community where I live and have lived for most of my life! The atmosphere is very family friendly, with board games and a bigger tic tac toe game for the kiddos (and big kiddos!) to play with. Even a long table to bring a big family in (or even friends) and play the games or sit and talk while eating breakfast! I will be back and will probably bring my husband and other family when they are here!
