I've eaten at several Supper Clubs across the country. One of the Wisconsin signature items of then in Wisconsin is a Brandy Old Fashioned. There are at least two ways to make one. Pour pre-made bitters into the glass, add ice, add brandy and soda. Or, you can mull the spices which takes a few seconds and then add the Brandy and soda. When I arrived I was shown to a spot at the bar where I was stall from seating at a table. When I was, one server was working with an 8-top and a 2-top. The rest of the dining room was empty. So, I feel the idea was for me to buy drinks while at the bar. I also was asked to place my order by the bartender, not my server. I asked if the salad was shredded on site or bagged. She admitted, thankfully, that it was bagged. Thus, it might have been treated with the preservative "Potato White", which is used to prevent spoilage in bagged salads. It really is cheaper and better to buy fresh lettuce, perhaps even Green and Red leaf lettuc, cut that up, add fresh radishes carrots shavings and a quality dressing and you are servicing a freshly made salad, custom made. They restaurant can add it's own touches with items that have a low spoilage rate, such as croutons and bacon. It's low cost and really adds to the experience. At one point the bartender tells me to follow the server who was waiting behind me. She was very friendly and attentive. I was told the table number to go to and not shown to the table. I accustomed to being shown to a table, even in lower cost and target service restaurants. There was a traditional presentation of carrots, green onions and so on to munch on while waiting. all of the items were in paper ramekins and the Traditional Green Goddess sauce was just ranch, my perception right out of the bottle. Even if that was the choice of sauce, it would take only a minute to dress it up with some fresh herbs. My expectation of a real supper club experience was fading. There were two other dipping items presented, both which I perceived to be dressing blended with sour cream. The warm bread was delightful, in its texture, softness and yeasty flavor.Steak arrived and it was for certain not the 29.00 Filet Mignon I anticipated. Instead it was a cut of Tenderloin. Once I had the correct cut it was done perfectly to my request of Medium Rare. That was delightful. It had been seasoned with salt and pepper before cooked and had a lovely amount of bark on it. I could not help but wonder if it was Sysco center of plate product, but the cook was excellent. I asked for a twice baked potato. Sadly, while it was tasty, well seasoned and flavorful, again, I harkened back to Sysco product as it was what had been the interior of a potato and seasonings etc, but served in an aluminum cup, not a potato skin. I always enjoy good potato skin and it was a disappointing find. No desert was offered. I was charged a "non cash adjustment' for using a card to pay for my dinner. Service was good, food was good, even with my suspicions as noted above. I'd say for something to eat, it was utilitarian, as far as a dress up and have a supper club explanation, It fell short.

If you're 40 or younger, prepare to be judged. Overall, my experience for dinner was alright. The waiter and service were friendly and great. Food was delicious and well proportioned. Really, the only issue I had was the judgemental crowd. My family felt out of place. We were continuously stared at throughout the course of our time there. The only thing that really deemed us any different than the rest of the We may have been 2 or 3 decades younger than the rest of the crowd. It's unfortunate experience in that department and can't blame the establishment for that.

Ordered and picked up food tonight...I had the ribeye and scallops. The scallop were good but the ribeye i ordered medium rare was definitely well done and burnt. The girlfriend ordered a tenderloin and baked haddock. The tenderloin was over cooked as well... I recommended not ordering steak from here if you like it a certain way.

This place sucked... We Had To Get A Refill On A Coke Like 3 Times... We Ended Up Getting A Water Instead, Then Instead Of Getting French Dressing For The Salad We Got Ranch And Lastly We Asked For A EXTREMELY-Well done steak (NO PINK) We Ended up Getting A Medium-Rare Steak... So I Do Not Recommend This Place.

Let me first start by saying this place is always busy as far as I can tell. So they must be doing something right for some people. Gotta say though, I'm not really sure who all these people are or what they are doing so right. Let me also say that I saw the poor reviews online and didn't want to believe them. However, I would give this 2 1/2 stars out of 5. It was really just very average. Not much on tap, but in retrospect I should have had an old fashioned to get the more authentic supper club experience. I ordered the broiled seafood platter over rice with side of veggies and clam chowder. Clam chowder came out first and ended up being the highlight. If everything would have been on par with the chowder I would recommend going here! Unfortunately, the fish, scallops, and shrimp were all pretty bland. Carrots were not particularly tasty either. In sum, I wish I had gotten the fried perch and a potato option. I tasted the fried perch that my dad had ordered and it was better than the broiled option, but overall we all agreed that it was fairly bland and average.

Had to wait for 90 minutes when told it would only be 40 minutes to be seated. Once seated had to wait another 15 minutes for our fish. My wife had her salad gone before I got my soup which I had to ask for and got a snoby response. Never will I go back and I will tell anybody else to stay away. Fish by the way we're average at best.

Great Supper club!! Was our first visit there since we are new to the area. The waitress was friendly and great!! The popcorn in the bar was great!! Our steaks were done perfectly!! They do know their website is out of date and are working on getting it updated. The prices were reasonable considering the cost of food!! When my husband and I can go out for steaks and he also had scallops and the tab was under $50.00, that is reasonable!!!

Good old fashion's and friendly staff. Clean place and seemed to be a smooth running place. Nice menu with a nice variety of options - steaks, seafood, chicken, etc. No salad bar but plated salad with options of dressings. Relish tray of cheese spread, veggies & liver spread. A basket of crackers & toast served also. Then a warm loaf of bread accompanies all. Steak was cooked as ordered. Rib-eye ordered as medium rare to medium and done that way. Juicy and tender. A place to try! Welcoming place and good food.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND $$. I never write these, but this needed to be done. The worst dinning experience of my life. Went with my parents and 4 adult children, every meal was not prepared as ordered. Steaks under cooked, to the point they where cold in the middle. One of us ordered chicken Alfredo and the chicken was not cooked, the sauce appeared as if it was from a jar, sent that back because of the raw chicken and we got the exact same plate of food back. The kitchen was in total disarray, every table was sending food back. Sorry, but I will never be returning.

I ordered the Ribeye 16 oz. and it was done to perfection, but the 16 oz. consisted of about 6 oz. of steak and a huge amount,at least 8 oz., of broiled fat...I feel that the chef should have trimmed some of that fat off a 19.00 steak before serving it...otherwise the service was very good and the drinks also good...However, the main course itself for value did not exist..
