The Hangar

Good and service were above average but it's by an airport! You can watch planes come and go and what's not to love about that?!We sat outside. There was live music which I don't normally enjoy but the performer had an eclectic variety of songs and I found it quite pleasant along with watching folks dance and enjoy themselves.

Seated right away. Cheese curds were good, not the best, but a good representation. French dip was very good! The potato wedges were too. My young one didn't care for the Mac and cheese. Doesn't taste like craft. Save a couple of bucks if you pay cash. We would visit again

The food is always spot on! New food specials every week. Always great service , check out the live music on Tuesdays!

Great portions. Yummy food. A little salty but didn't bother us. Everything tasted great. Out table had the pilot platter, smash burger, French dip, wings, Reuben and grilled cheese. Everyone loved their food!

Cool space, nice location for EAA guests. Giant portions! I wish we knew before ordering as our group of 5 people went home with 2 bags full of leftovers. The fig flatbread was disappointing, too sweet, needed more savory qualities. The thing with flatbread is every bite tends to taste differently because of how items are arranged on it. Looked beautiful, but didn't taste very good as most bites were just bread and jam. The Mediterranean salad was wonderful, everything was fresh and they really filled it up with goodies. They have their own parking lot, it is a bit small but we were there and the house was packed and we still found great parking. A few basic table options for their outdoor patio in the back as well, otherwise they have a dining room and a bar that has tables in it to sit and eat. Our server was friendly and attentive, but didn't hover which was nice. Great fish specials! They had a bluegill special that you can order large or small. The large can be shared by 2 or 3 people.

I went to The Hangar on a Friday night. I made reservations and only had a short wait when I got there. I ordered the fried haddock and cheesy potatoes with the steak and mushroom soup. I also ordered one of their holiday drinks. I don't remember the name of it. EVERYTHING that I ordered was amazing. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing with aviation decor. The steak and mushroom soup was to die for. I really wish I had the recipe. Perfection was what I thought as I was eating it. The holiday drink that I got had a cranberry flavor and a fizz from a soda of some kind. It was so good I could have keep sipping on it all night. The haddock was crispy and thinly sliced. It was so good! The cheesy potatoes were a great touch! It's an awesome side that you don't see in many restaurants. I would give the Hangar an A++++. I can't wait to go back! I also need to add that the staff is amazing!!!

Good service, prompt and delicious food, serving size if on the good-sized portion, great place for a family dinner or drinks with friends.

This is a semi- permanent restaurant in the Vintage area at the EAA AirVenture week in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Very good pot roast dinner with real mashed potatoes. However the veggie side spent a little to much time in the warming pan. Very good chef salads. The temps during the week were in the 90's yet the Hangar staff was pleasant and prompt.

Got the smothered chicken here when we were driving back towards the airport. Also had a order of the cheese curds. Both were tasted pretty good. The cheese curds in particular were lightly fried and went down easy. The inside is like a typical bar atmosphere but they do sell surprisingly high quality merchandise.

The Hangar has become a tradition for us while attending AirVenture. Good food, generous servings. Our server, Julie was delightful and actually remembered us from previous year. Great that they let us set up chairs outside to enjoy the night air show after dinner.
