The DINER

Sunday Noon packed house, local after church folks, good solid menu, friendly attentive staff, great Americanfood entrees. Enjoyed a clean diner atmosphere. Well put-together Meatloaf classic w/2 sides was genuinely 4 star, generous portion of broccoli from a bag, side salad was fresh - all in all very worthwhile stop when passing thru and nothing but a local diner will do.

Tried this new place in between appointments this morning. Service was superb. Our server checked on us frequently as did another server when she saw us looking around and came to see if we needed anything. As much food as you get, we could have totally shared a meal. Hubby had the meat lovers skillet with sour dough toast. He asked for sausage gravy on top of his skillet. He said it was flavorful and meshed well. I had the senior-size (2 eggs) Denver omelet with grits and pancakes. As you can tell by the photos, they like butter on their grits as much as I do! The omelet was so good with crisp tender peppers and onions. The pancakes had a slight malt flavor. All of our food was tasty!The restaurant was clean and quiet with a central location in Appleton. Definitely would return!

Poor costumer service. The waitress was rude. We had to leave the restaurant. My daughter had a special drink because of her special diet and the waitress saw her with her cup and just told her "I cannot let you stay here with your drink" so we just left.

Hash browns were a bit raw, sandwich was good! Restaurant was very clean, service was good!

In the tradition of small town diners, this is right on par. Nothing fancy, but all the essential breakfast items can be found on the menu. Very friendly service.Not from Wisconsin but my brother -in-law is and he agrees that it was satisfactory

Went there for breakfast. Over medium eggs cooked to perfection and came out hot. Sausage was good. Pancake was very tasty and the coffee was awesome. Friendly service and clean place. Would give a 4.5 if I could! I will come back!

Great place! I've passed by this place 100s of times never even thinking about it. I needed my car repaired across the street from the diner and was hungry for breakfast. Liked the reviews, said to myself "self let's give it a try!" LolPlace is very clean! Food is very good for a diner. The portions are huge! So much so I couldn't finish my meal. The best part though is the price, way cheaper than the chain places. I will be back again.

We went earlier in the day but really wanted lunch and it was amazing. Service was quick and friendly. It was cool to seat ourselves so we were able to sit in a booth by the windows. The food was perfectly portioned and delicious. To top it off the two meals were under $30.

Menu looks good but it really seems like the cooks here are either inexperienced or not paying attention. If you order eggs over easy, sometimes you will get almost a hard cooked egg and other times it will hardly be cooked with much of the white still running. Paying for a botched meal that should be really easy to make is a surefire way to keep me from visiting. Especially when it's easier to make eggs and toast with some snausage at home.
