We came to the Cooperage for a celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Milwaukee. I can tell you that the location is easy to get to, the parking is ample, but mostly on the street, and the vibe is really comfortable. With the river right outside the back door the atmosphere is cool and welcoming. The bar is well stocked and I can imagine this is a great place for a private event or even a small wedding or celebration. It appears to be a nice spot with a food truck with lots of outdoor seating. I wish I knew more about this location but I intend to find out more since it was a great evening here.

The Cooperage offers a lovely event space on the lake and adjacent to Boone & Crockett. Came here recently for the Awkward Nerd Book Fair (so fun!). It has a wonderful high ceilinged, airy feel. Some have described it as industrial, which it does have that feel a bit. Personally, I find the high ceilings and exposed brick delightful. The bar is wonderful and the bartenders (from Boone & Crockett, I'm assuming?) mixed up delicious beverages. As an event space, they can definitely accommodate a variety of event types from book fairs to concerts to wedding receptions. The view of the Hoan is pretty magnificent,There is on site parking and a nice little outdoor bar and food truck area for bites.Definitely recommend for small to mid-sized events.

Came here for a festival and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Staff was kind and accommodating, the venue suited the event perfectly, and the view from the patio is photoworthy. The Taco Moto food truck outside was crazy good, too. Great NA beer choices available. Bring earplugs if you're going for music. Thanks for being great hosts.

Beautiful event space. I remember this place as the where house and it still has the giant ceiling fan overhead. I went for a dry January NA beverage expo (although really I'm at that age where every month is dry January lol) There's lots of light, cream city brick, and plants. I believe a food truck park uses the adjacent lot here in warm weather. There's also a parking lot. Beautiful space in the mil!

Beautiful space, exposed brick and lots of windows. Bartenders were great, didn't have to wait at all for a drink. I've been here twice to see bands and both times it was very loud on the instrumentals to the point where you couldn't hear the person singing. If they work on that, I would 5 star the place.

Big fan of this venue for a concert. Beautiful exposed brick, high stage providing everyone with a great view. Bathrooms located right behind the end of the concert viewing floor. Of you're a trusting person like myself, you'll appreciate the coat rack near the restrooms. It's no fun to hold onto your coat or wear it when you're sweating. Boone and Crockett is the first portion of the building. The entrance for the Cooperage is located in the back. A bonfire was going on in the back too. My recommendation, bring cash for the bar. It does take a a while to get drinks- I can only imagine how long it would take to close out at the end of the night.

Nicest and most fun staff in Milwaukee! The crew makes every experience there a blast and Emily is a powerhouse making events (public and private) run smoothly. The space is gorgeous, drinks are so cheap, and the bar tenders are fast, welcoming and fun. One of my favorite places in Milwaukee!

Fantastic venue! Was here for MKE Psych Fest, and I couldn't have higher praise. Drinks are reasonably priced, great selection, and the perfect amount of space to see a band or two. Nice!

Great venue for music. The bands have a fantastic platform on stage and autistics are just right. Plenty of space for a sizable crowd but not too crowded so that you can't get to know each other. Drinks are available and bartenders are very nice and hardworking.

Beautifully restored space and great location on the river. Excellent venue for shows. Plus you can get great eats at Taco Moto, which is in the parking lot, and mosey over to Boone & Crocket. The main question is the marketing--how would anyone know this bar is here unless you heard through word of mouth? Could use a set of signs. That's also true of Boone & Crocket and Taco Moto; however, those places have an established brand and clearly need no publicity nor drive-by traffic. This place is invisible when you're in its parking lot.
