We met up with some friends the morning after a wedding to enjoy some breakfast, we were seated right away. The menu is large enough, there is something for everyone. Our server was so friendly as we were all a little undecisive at first.I enjoyed a delicious creme brulee latte and the breakfast tacos. Others enjoyed some of the skillets and coffees. We thought the food was delicious and a good amount for the price. I would love to stop by another time and try more!

Made another trip to The Coop on Friday and it was fine. I ordered the apple cinnamon French toast (an autumn special) and it was just alright. I ate about half of it, but the apple topping was essentially canned apple pie filling -- a little too goopy and artificial for my taste. I wouldn't recommend it as there are plenty of other yummy things on the menu. Our server wasn't spectacular. She only made one trip to our table to take our food and beverage order and then one more to drop off the food. It would have been nice to get a beverage refill. We had to wave her down for the check. As for ambiance, The Coop is a cute little diner. It's cozy and clean, but nothing too special. Even though this trip was mediocre, I'll probably visit The Coop again in the future.

Amazing service and friendly staff. Very diverse menu, with a lot of healthy options if you so choose. I highly recommend the strawberry crêpes, with the fruit cup. Although I didn't try one, I noticed from fellow diners, that the omelettes are huge and looked very scrumptious. You can easily have enough leftovers for a decent breakfast the next day. You can tell they're using high-quality ingredients in their recipes. The prices are a little high, but that's understandable with the economy the way it is. It's truly as good value. A must try!

Espanola skillet Offering great food, expertly prepared at a good price, this was a great choice for brunch. The menu covered all the basics. I had the Espanola skillet, delivered exactly as ordered, with jalapeños and salsa on the side. The two-egg skillet with eggs on top meant the eggs disappeared pretty quickly but the portions of chicken and ham were particularly generous, with plenty of each leftover in my to-go box. Taylor took good care of us and let my husband believe his jokes were funny. There wasn't much room for improvement, except maybe a better distribution strategy for the cheese, which was super thick in some areas and pretty light in others. If you're looking for brunch in Waukesha, you can't go wrong here.

Awesome breakfast / brunch / lunch place with table service. Went on a Friday around noon and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and prompt. Menu has a lot of options - everyone can find something they will love. I had the Coop burger and fries, delicious. Too big, had to take half the burger home. Same with the Coop skillet - fantastic taste and enough leftovers for breakfast for 2 of us (we added some additional eggs). We had a small kiddo making a fair bit of noise toward the end of our meal, but other than that the restaurant was not too loud and was very clean. We considered coming back another day during my visit to Waukesha, it was that good.

What an amazing breakfast space! The best breakfast I've had in months! The biscuit sandwich was so delicious and went perfectly with their crispy potatoes. I was not expecting the smoothie to be that good either but I downed it in about 5 minutes. Truly so amazing. Coffee was also excellent. The restaurant itself is super clean, had ample seating and the food came out very quickly. I will definitely be stopping in again when I am in the area!

I visited The Coop for the first time today (Saturday) around noon. The food was great, and our waiter was fantastic, no complaints there. However, the way the manager handled a simple question about the menu was incredibly disappointing.I ordered the Eggs Classic, which comes with one side. The menu didn't specify what sides were included, so I naturally looked at the list of available sides and chose Mama's Cheesy Hash, because, well, cheesy potatoes are always a win. The meal was delicious, but when the bill arrived, I noticed an extra $1.95 charge for the potatoes. This wasn't listed anywhere under the category of what I ordered, and our server hadn't mentioned it either.I wasn't upset about the charge itself, I was just confused and we politely asked for clarification. Instead of a friendly response, the staff member who answered immediately got defensive and dismissive. She pointed out that under the Benedicts section of the menu, there's a note about an extra $1.95 charge for Mama's Hash. But I did not order a Benedict, so why would I have read that? I ordered from a completely different section of the menu.Rather than acknowledging that the menu could be clearer, she argued and then had the nerve to ask, "Well, did you eat the hash browns?" Of course, I ate them, I ordered them! That wasn't the point. The issue was the lack of clear communication about the extra charge. Instead of listening, she acted like I should have somehow just known about the surcharge. We called later to speak to the manager about the situation, only to find out that she was the manager. That explained a lot.Eventually, they removed the charge from the bill, but it was done with an attitude, saying, "If it's that big of a deal, we'll just take it off," in an unprofessional tone to the person checking us out. This review isn't about the money, it's about the principle and how we were treated. A simple, friendly explanation would have been enough. Instead, the manager was argumentative, dismissive, and condescending.
