Taking a break from beer tasting and decided to check out the ciders of Wisconsin. Ventured to this location on a Saturday with a room filled with people. I helped myself to the bar area and was greeted immediately. Decided to go with the cider tasting and a cheese and meat board. Prices are very reasonable and I enjoyed my time hanging out at the bar with my cheese, cider and live music.

Drinks, and service was fantastic! I enjoyed hanging out trying all the drinks and even a few cocktails. I purchased 6 bottles and a bottle of syrup to go back to Chicago with me. I'd definitely recommend if you are in the Madison area.

Enjoyed an evening of live music at the Cider Farm last Saturday. Liked the options of indoor and covered outdoor seating. Music by guitarists Greg and Casey was great! We ordered cider drinks with help from the bartender. Very good. Shared an order of the Brie cheese platter and later ordered very large pretzels with mustard. Excellent! The seating was crowded due to the musicians, so we sat at the bar most of the evening. Very nice helpful staff. Slow to get food, but we weren't in a rush.

Located adjacent to Brennan's market, this is a nice place with indoor/outdoor space. They grow the apples just for use in their ciders, and the farm is entirely organic. The staff were very nice and friendly and we enjoyed conversing with them. They also offer food, basically appetizers and desserts. Their ciders were good, some were dry , some sweet and crisp. They had a variety of flavors! Of the fur varieties we sampled the Rose is made annually. It was a bit tart!. The Tremlett was possibly our favorite. It had hints of lemon. A very relaxing environment and worth stopping in and also shop at Brennan's.

This is a hidden gem. It's a little off the beaten path, adjoining with the Brennans market, not off a major road. Almost regret reviewing it and risking it getting too crowded for me to enjoy. Great place to enjoy indoor/outdoor dining and farm fresh cider. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is never fussy. The ciders are crisp and cool, with the Equinox being my fave. Great snacks like cheese plates and lighter fare. They have mixed drinks as well with Apple Brandy. This is the kind of place to make you smile on a beautiful day.

Don't be fooled that this establishment is strapped to the side of a grocery store. This is a casual hang-out gem with a blend of indoor/outdoor seating and live jazz was a pleasing experience. There's an abundant choice of ciders from traditional to unique and an enjoyable cheese platter to accompany! Service was a touch slow but in speaking with the owner apparently it was an unexpected rush that hadn't staffed for. I look to assessing that in a future visit.

Delicious cider, great service!I stopped in around lunch time when I was in town visiting a friend. This was a spot I had bookmarked that was closest to her home, so one day when she was working I took myself to this spot for a midday sip and sit.I arrived very shortly after they opened and I was the only one there for quite some time. That meant that I got to chat with the employees, learn about their offerings, and have the chillest of cool times all by myself.I opted to get a flight in order to try as many of their offerings as I could. In fact...I ended up indulging and having TWO flights because I liked their stuff so much I wanted to try everything!I got the rose cider with both of my flights, so I think it is safe to say that one was my favorite!I didn't get any food while I was there, but they do have food offerings and much of it sounded tasty! The staff were super friendly. The space was bright and open and inviting. The hard cider was DE. LIC. IOUS.Highly recommended.

While visiting my sister we opted to go apple picking. Being one that likes a full days theme, I found The Cider Farm quite near to her home and we decided to check it out for dinner on Wednesday evening. To my surprise there was a Yelp Event going on in the private room! I knew instantly that this was a five star pick for dinner. After getting to meet the Madison CA, I joined my sisters on the patio for drinks and shared boards. I opted for the Old Fashioned Cider, which was a great take on an OF. Plenty of tart and sweet - it was well balanced and didn't leave me super boozy. We ordered Trout Dip, Duck Nuggets, Smashed Truffle Potatoes and a Wisconsin cheese & charcuterie board. The trout dip was a surprise favorite! It was creamy, savory, spicy and full of flavor. We spread it on sourdough baguettes with shaved veggies and were in Heaven! The duck nuggets were a fantastic elevated way to enjoy nuggets. It's like chicken nuggets went glam! The house dipping sauce paired very well with the duck nuggets. In fact, it would pair well with almost anything - it was delicious! If french fries could be rockstars they'd probably be The Cider Farms Smashed Truffle Potatoes. Perfectly steamed, smashed and fried; these potatoes amped up the fry game by getting tossed in truffle oil, chives, parsley, and Hook's Triple Play cheese. Served with a garlic aioli that I could drink with a straw, these potatoes were pure ecstasy. On our way out we grabbed several bottles of their house made brandy-maple syrup. And I highly suggest you do the same. You'll want it on everything from pancakes to baked brie. The Cider Farm was a total gem. Situated next to a lux grocery store it's completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. Will 100% return when back in the area!

A really homey space with kind employees and great drinks! I came here with friends and got the apple brandy old fashioned and some of the caramel truffles to take home. While everything tasted great, the hidden gem of this place is the owner's attitude and how he walks around and engaged you in conversations about apples, the process of making their ciders, anything you would want to ask about their offerings! Even their other staff are all nice and welcoming and offer to make accomodations for you right away even without asking. I'll definitely be coming back and recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a cozy night out for a few friends!

Well, it worked. I fell in love with Cider Farm! John and his wife, the owners, generously offered to host our latest Yelp Elite event. I always love the fun things we do at events, but I am very glad I didn't miss this one! I decided to try the Cyser, which I then had several more glasses of, and even bought a bottle to take home. Delicious! And the 9.2% ABV doesn't hurt. The food spread was a great accoutrement to the crisp and refreshing cider. It was really fun learning about how John and his wife started, and that they are a fully organic orchard in the beautiful Driftless region of Wisconsin. They also only use organic and locally produced ingredients for their grub as well! I will definitely be back to The Cider Farm.
