The Brain Freeze

Wouldn't have stopped in if I hadn't googled for ice cream in the area. We ordered some chicken tenders and fries for a very late lunch. Chicken tenders were fried nicely and we were able to ask for both a BBQ and honey mustard dipping sauce. Armed with lactaid, I ordered a "beach bunny" float aka root beer float (although you can select any carbonated beverage) and my husband ordered a chocolate milkshake. It's a hot day and these sweet mid-afternoon treats hit the spot; no complaints. All reasonably priced!We enjoyed our meal outside on a pink picnic table because while the old-school decor and nostalgic photos were cool, we appreciated the outside breeze. Wouldn't go out of my way for a brain freeze, but happy we stopped in! 3.5 stars (:

Very reasonably priced, friendly people behind the counter. The decor is vintage and fun. Ordered "Far Out" Brain Freezers and they were well made. We will be back.

While I understand how difficult it is to find help, this place is ridiculous. I walked in around 3:30pm to only a family of four ordering ice cream. Nothing difficult; just three shakes and two scoops. The girl obviously didn't want to be there, as she walked like she was in a funeral. Then, in the middle of that, the phone rang, and she proceeded to talk on the things for another two minutes before completing the order. Mind you, I still haven't ordered mine. Finally she finished the order, returned to the register, and stood there looking around. I finally decided to ask if she was going to take my order. She acted like she had no idea what I was saying. I ordered a medium sundae with hot fudge. She put the ice cream in, then the whipped cream, and then the cherry. No hot fudge until I called her on it. I hope the other counter people are better trained. I doubt I'll be back to find out.

This place has some amazing food at a great price! Burgers are always perfect and juicy, milkshakes are a bit thick for my liking but are still delicious. One of the best places for a burger in whitewater.

The ice cream here is what you would expect out of an ice cream parlor... except for the surprising lack of bananas and smiling faces. I recommend this establishment if you have time to spare. Better to go with friends when you have time to hang out since service is a little slow. Overall would recommend for a nice ice cream treat but they lose 1 star because we went for banana splits and they were out of bananas, and -1 star since the employees seemed annoyed. Nice outdoor seating and the icecream and food were good!

It's honestly gross my food and my friends food was so greasy and it taste old and there was a hard thing in the burger.

Tried this place after months and months. Nothing has changed. Food is great but they NEVER get my order right. This time it was placed by a coworker and they still got my order wrong. It was one item!!! I'm done with this place. Hire people who can read.

If you're not in the mood for what is your typical fast food burger this is the place for you. Super average, but very tasty. Burgers remind me of summer! Chili cheese fries were 8/10 cheese sauce was good (which is hard to find), fries were average.
