The Bottle

I've been coming here since I was 22. The vibes are 90's and early 2000's jams with a mix of true south side flare. The bartenders though...they make the place. Everyone knows the locals. And Ray knows everyone's name and keeps the drinks flowing but also makes you feel at home. Always recommend this place to everyone! Come on it's a staple for Milwaukee.

Came for a private event so we were waaaay in the back bar. I had no idea this place was so huge after having only been here once or twice like a decade ago. One of the owners was our bar tender and was some what knowledgeable on the buildings history. If you look around you can see the 1800s touches from when it was built. Very cool.The service was of course great and I general we had a nice time. If you're a craft beer drinker they had a pretty large list of respectable brews and there were a few regulars hanging in front. I highly recommend stopping in for a brew.

Sauntered in here 'cause it was on the way. Even though it was a Friday night, there was barely anyone inside.First things first: drinks (e.g. beer). The options are chalked on the walls. After much deliberation I make my decision, Two Sisters. Bartender goes to get it and comes back with something completely different. Er?Apparently the label has a similar appearance to the beer I ordered. Comes back again and he says that they don't have it. By the circumstances I'm guessing either they don't have or this guy couldn't locate it. Even though he opened the wrong beer, he didn't offer it up for the trouble, I guess he doesn't have to. But it was his mistake... Anyway I have no idea where that beer ended up. Finally I settle for Fixed Gear. And I suspect this guy isn't a high level mixologist.Wandering around this joint is huge. I was glad to see a shuffle board and I preceded to dominate Stephen M. Go up to get a shuffleboard shot "winners choice" and ask about the tequilas. Ready? They got Cuvero (gag) and Hornitos and ... Wait that's it. No that's it? Yep that's it.There are also a bunch of video games. Bowling! Yay! Issue with that was that it ate my quarters. It worked with bills but not with quarters. So I'm out a couple quarters and let the other bartender know and asked her to cover up the coin slot if it's not working.I'd probably not go out of my way to come back. It was unimpressive in terms of clientele, staff capability, functioning machines - at least on the night I went. However, I like the shuffleboard and video games. Too bad the really cool looking Monopoly pinball machine was broken :(

A spacious bar with good music, great vibes, excellent prices, and a friendly staff. The bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of space to keep people socially distancing while having a good time.

Amazing customer service and great drinks!! Recommend 10/10 I love this shit! We came an hours early and they opens the bar for our crew.

Drinks are cheap. They have pizza and occasional bingo which is cool. Lots of games. Crowd is alot of regulars and the area its located in looks kinda shady. It's ok I guess. It was sad to see a guy across from me drowning himself in pitchers one after another until he was passed out. I went once. That was enough.

First and foremost, this is a corner bar in all the best ways. It's dark. Has a few pool tables, and that off-to-the-side video game area with the basic hunting and golf games. What makes this bar stand out is a perfect storm of delights:1) good beer selection. 2) good prices. 3) the best damn popcorn machine. Seriously. I have never seen anyone actually make the popcorn but its always there and delicious. It's some sort of wizard machine. 4) Matt. He's the main bartender and he's awesome. I've never seen someone move so fast yet still make everyone feel like he's paid special attention to them. 5) the constant sound of bar dice. So if you're looking for a great place to drink with your homies and you don't need some hipster/stick up your butt place get on down to The Bottle. See you on Wednesday!

This is a great corner bar.Lots of seating/tables.Darts/pool/arcade games.Cheap drinks.Merriment.I like.

Super nice staff! Great large bar with plenty of seating and lots of charm. We had a party in the back room and they could not have been more accommodating. We will be back!

This bar is the worst bar in Milwaukee the owner and the bartenders are waisted behind the bar and don't even know what's going on. I waited for a drink for 40 min before I finally left. I'll never go back and u shouldn't either
