The Abbey

Went here on 11/13/22 @9pm.Love this place. Will be back. They have very reasonable prices and we just wanted to grab a late night snack. We have the loaded potato soup and some appetizers. All very good.Staff is very professional and hard working.Lots of neat stuff on the walls.Pool table off to the side. Plenty of seating at the bar or tables.Great place. I've been here several times. It's bar food-nothing crazy. The pepperoni pizza we had was alright. It's very thin crust. The drinks come strong, which is good. They usually have pretty good soup specials. I loved the French dip sandwich I got here. Lots of meat and the au jus was piping hot and nice and flavorful.It's a fun place to watch any game at. It gets packed and they run plenty of drink specials. During COVID they were running a lot of great food specials for pick up and we ordered a few times for burgers. Their burgers are pretty delicious-nice, thick and juicy!

I've ordered from them through DoorDash twice now. I really enjoyed their philly cheesesteak so much the first time, I hankered a craving for another and ended up getting the same thing.It is nothing spectacular, a simple one that was tasty. The meat was cooked nicely with no gristle. Very melty cheese. The bread and cheese teetered on the low quality side, but for some reason it just worked great.To me, based on food alone, this place is a tad underrated at 3 stars. Perhaps I'll check out the actual restaurant once we are all vaccinated :)

Classic bar food, but tasty. Had afternoon drinks here and a blt wrap. Service was prompt. They had a lot of cool vintage items on the walls, and lots of bar games (shuffleboard and a coin games).

A great Bar and Grill in De Pere. We stayed at the Kress Inn and The Abbey is just a few steps away! They have a great menu, my group shared a pizza and I ordered a turkey sandwich with fries. The drinks are great and generous pours. I will definitely be back when I'm back in Wisconsin.

The Abbey Bar has fantastic burgers! Reminds me of a tailgate. Their menu features a variety of toppings but I had cheddar cheese and bacon. They also have a big selection of beers to pair with your burger. I highly recommend trying!

Nice lil bar next door to my hotel. Plenty of craft beers on tap, Pizza was slightly above avg. Had the nachos they were good. Decent bar. Service was pretty good. Lots of locals here. Lots of fun in the place . Had several screen to watch sports and watch the the locals get drunk, if they dint catch you checking them out.

If you want a sandwich in a reasonable amount of time, this is not the place for you, Very slow service, kitchen is much slower to deliver your food. Poorly run place of business.

Good place to get some bar eats and drinks. The decor is your typical Wisconsin bar, beer signs, etc.. they also have the normal bar games, pool, pull tabs and the like. Plenty of seating throughout the place . Got the French dip and was impressed with the nice French roll it was served on. Also got the big cheese basket, in a word amazing, mozzarella sticks, cheese curds, fried cheese ravioli,fries and poppers. A Wisconsin cheese lovers dream! Our server was very friendly as well. I think in pre covid and in the future they have a more extensive menu, they have pared it down due to staffing, but there's still something for pretty much everyone to chose from on the menu

I really want to like this place, but the food is so bad that I just can't. Service is great, drinks are reasonably priced, but their already limited menu is even smaller due to staffing. Our party had pizzas. They seemed undercooked. The menu could use some healthier options. Nothing on it looked good which is why I got pizza. Suggestions we have for the menu would be a few seafood dishes. Maybe stuffed shrimp or scallops for fish fry? More salads would be great, they are pretty fast to turn out. The menu desperately needs help. I would stop in for drinks though.
