The 46 Tavern

Stopped by the 46 Tavern last night with a group of friends.....what a great place!Heidi was a great host and bartender who was more than willing to experiment making several different cocktails.The outdoor seating and counter is a very cool place to hangout.The bar is very neat and clean with an old school feel. I honestly don't think I've ever been in a cleaner bar, including the bathroom.Stop by and relax for a while.

Just had drinks. Lots of different choices. What great ambiance! Beautiful interior!

Great new bar! Visiting Walworth area from Florida. This was by far the best stop. Great drinks and great service. Bar is very tastefully decorated and keeping with the nautical theme. Highly recommended. Thank you Savannah for the great experience!!!

Not all newly renovated older taverns become better. Sterile and uncomfortably stodgy due to new minimal-bad-country-club-locker-waiting-room decor, the past three decades of personality have been erased and are now lost to this tiny town's friendly past watering hole, Sweeney's Pub. Last owner, Lois Gilfoy, allowed her fun-loving place to grow into its' patrons and pub's own style and expression with the patina of well-loved wall decor, arcade amusements, quirky corners and nicknacks about. It had the love of the Irish all over it. Now it has a poorly wood laminated particleboard feel like an IKEA closet door. The faire and libations are just as boring. And who chooses the music? Mister Rogers? What did it used to offer... Dance floor? Darts? GO-GOing on the bar? Raffles? Bandstand? Bikers welcomed? AND THIS IS THE CLINCHER... Other 5 star reviews continually call the place ..."tidy"... "clean"... etc... If that's a compliment for a tavern, then it's also a compliment for an old folks home and hospital ward... NOT for a pub!

This is a cool little bar! I visited this on Sunday, September 10th with a friend. The bartender was very friendly, the drinks were cold and they were offering free hot dogs and green and gold Jell-O shots during the Green Bay Packers game! I live a few hours away, but if I'm in the area, I'll definitely pay Sweeney's a visit again!

Stopped in Christmas Eve...to enjoy a whiskey sour....Mark the bartender was a very personable bartender and made a perfect whiskey sour..!!....Comfortable and warm atmosphere.. ..nice place to relax at the end of a work day....Kelly

Great service, best Guinness I've had since I was in Ireland. This little pub is next level compared to the other options in west end of Lake Geneva. Next level compared to the entire area. Well done.

Service was amazingly! This place is one of the cleanest bars I have ever been in. The pride they take in their establishment and it shows - we will be back.

Went into The 46 Tavern for the first time a few weeks ago. What a great remodel! I love the front door, solid wood throughout and original tin ceiling. The new owners were able to mix new with old beautifully. The staff was very attentive and friendly my husband and I will definitely be back.

Excellent bar. Great service and great drinks. It looks brand new on the inside! I highly recommend this location!
