That's Amore

An institution if you're in Milwaukee. TA is the Olive Garden of local Italian places, without the microwaved food or big corporate ownership but with just as yummy salad and breadsticks. The Alfredo sauce is top notch and the meatballs are more than good also. If you want to leave full and with a to go box, check out that's amore. You won't be disappointed.

I decided to try this place while my sister, who loves it, was out of town. The unlimited breadsticks and salad are definitely fan favorites, and I can see why! The breadsticks were warm and freshly made, and the salad had an amazing dressing and tasted fresh. I also appreciated that they sell their own salad dressing, which was a nice touch.I tried the Ketel One martini, which was delicious, and overall, the service was good, though a bit slow on the lower level. We ordered the Crabby Chicken and the Chicken Parmigiana & Lasagna combination plate. The Crabby Chicken was okay, but could've used a bit more seasoning to bring out the flavor. Unfortunately, the Chicken Parmigiana and Lasagna weren't our favorites - the chicken was a bit dry and lacked flavor kind of tasted not that well done, though the marinara sauce was tasty.I'd come back to try other menu items, especially with the breadsticks and salad on the side. The hostess was also very welcoming and friendly, which made for a pleasant visit overall

A group of five of us went to That's Amore for lunch. One plus right away is that they agreed to give separate checks. if the waitress did not know an answer to someone's question, she willingly checked with the kitchen. I ordered eggplant spinach parmigiana, which turned out to be excellent. Before our entrees came they served the table an excellent fresh garden salad and breadsticks to share, which was a nice touch. We were served in a timely manner, except for one of our group who ordered lasagna whose entree came late. The waitress presented us each with our bills. It took her quite a while to run each of our credit cards, but we were not in a hurry. When our group arrived at 11:30 (with a reservation) there was no wait. When we left the place was full and people were waiting. The parking lot was packed, with good reason. The food was very good. I will definitely return.

Had a great dinner here the other night.We were seated upstairs where they started to seat multiple parties, so it started to get loud as we were leaving. Had some good wine and we always love the salad and breadsticks served with their entrees. Heard the mostaccioli amore was okay but not worth getting again. Loved the bolognese - tender and flavorful. If you join their rewards, you get $10 off. Pretty good deal. Will come back!

Delicious prime rib along with fried eggplant appetizer. Busy on weekends so make a reservation or take a chance early or late.

This is decent Italian restaurant that I have been to a few times because I like the food and they have special offers for the customers like a $10 off coupon when you download the app. You get $10 off on your birthday good for 2 weeks before your birthday and 2 weeks after your birthday. I currently have a free bottle of wine on my next visit so the perks are pretty nice especially when perks are not the norm now of days.

Have been a customer since they open customer before they were open with timber. The food is just as good if not better than timber this is excellent. Food is always good. Never had a bad deal there.

The food was awful for the price, especially the soggy veal... what made this visit worse was that it was my Mom's 70th birthday and the waitress was rude. She gave us attitude the entire night from not answering a simple question of what are your soda types to not offering anyone dessert. She was definitely acting put out while serving us. We will not be returning... which is sad too because it's such a nice ambiance inside the bar & restaurant.

Without a doubt when someone wants to meet for happy hour and appetizers this is 100% my go to place. You know the place where you always order the same thing and the consistency and service and price bring you back kinda place. That is without a doubt That's Amore!Calamari, shrimp Capri and eggplant roll-ups are the perfect trifecta. Start with a Manhattan and then then order the house wine. If you have room for dessert the tiramisu is the bomb!

Have not been here since before Covid, food has always been very good, had Brenda D. as a waitress, vey rude, got stuck with her once before and now again, best prime rib and all you can eat shrimp, good cocktails too, low rating is for service, food is great.
