Hello Mukwonago. Have you taken time out of your busy schedule to visit "That Place ". Yes! That restaurant building that sits in the post office parking lot across from the fire department. Well I think the new couple who moved to Mukwonago in 2018. Their children have attended our local schools ever since then soon decided that Mukwonago was where they wanted to stay. So they opened their new restaurant in this location in December 2023. Then Sold their former restaurant location in Milwaukee. They brought all their knowledge, recipes, hard work energy and twenty plus years of experience to our community. They have been here a year and half. They brought new life to this corner of our community. Check their website out for more information. Today I had the baked cod with French fries and, as usual it was delicious. My wife and mother in law both had the lasagna with meat and they could have split an order but their eyes were bigger than their mouths so now we have leftovers, YUM.Ordered the fratelli for desert and it is fantastic.If you have not eaten here, you are definitely missing out. There's plenty of parking, full bar and plenty of space to enjoy great food with good friends.Yes, we will return and order the same food again.

We are in town for DMB at alpine and staying close by. Came here for brunch today and it was amazing. We started with toasted cheese raviolis and they were so delicious. We had a bloody mary with a spotted cow chaser and a mimosa. For our meal we had a steak sandwhich and a chicken alfredo pizza. Both were SO good! So happy we found this place. Service was great and the inside was so cute. Will be back here next time were at Alpine.

First time at That Place. The remodel of the former restaurant is beautiful. The exterior is gorgeous and up to date. The interior is is smart, classy. Service is excellent. Friendly wait staff that takes care of your needs. The food was outstanding. Giant, sweet, succulent shrimp in the scampi. My husband asked for a warmer piece of garlic bread and his wish was granted. I enjoyed chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta. The chicken was delicious, lightly breaded. Quality, tender chicken breast accompanied by a wonderful, flavorful sauce.

We stopped out at That Place during a blizzard-like Friday. I have heard good reviews from friends so my family decided to try it out.Our appetizer was wonton mozzarella sticks and main coarse was a unique hand battered fish fry ($18)and Shrimp Diavolo ($25) with garlic bread. Everything tasted fresh and hot.Our waitress was friendly, accurate, and answered the questions that we had. The environment was newly designed, inviting, and comfortable.

We stopped in a couple of months after the opening for a late lunch. This is the second restaurant open by these owners, the first being in Milwaukee . We previously tried eating at "That Place" for dinner, but it was packed. Half of the restaurant is devoted to patron seating, and the other half appears to be devoted to a soft- seating waiting area. There's a TV at the bar and in the waiting area.We sat at the bar and was promptly waited on by a very pleasant bartender. We ordered a few appetizers and a salad. We ordered the usual cheese curds, a salad, and wings. Mixed drinks were good. My husband enjoyed his salad, but I had to send my wings back because they were ice cold in the middle. The bartender called the young manager over, and I asked if they could microwave then to heat them so they were hot. I was informed that either they don't have a microwave or they don't microwave wings (I forget which). At any rate, they apologized and brought me a new order of fully cooked wings that were hot & didn't have ice crystals in them, demonstrating good customer service. Menu had several choices they are in the process of rolling out. This is a smart business decision as it lets them get the kinks out of the new outpost. Overall, the service was fine, and the food was okay, not outstanding. This would not be the first choice if I was seeking a really good Italian meal.Don't get me wrong! It's nice to have another addition to the dining scene in Mukwonago, especially since it's a restaurant desert. Any four-star reviews here or on Facebook with several grains of salt as the locals are pretty provincial in their views and tastes. The few people who have dared to post a negative or even neutral review have been flamed by the locals. Not kidding! People have been called out as if they were commie ax murderers because they had a different experience and "don't support a small local business"We will be back once they have really settled in and want to try their take out pizza for sure. The food was delicious here. This was our first visit to this fairly new restaurant in Mukwonago. My husband and I were both very pleased with everything. He ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavalo, which he said was spicy and flavorful. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli. The marinara sauce had the perfect balance of garlic and sweetness with a touch of basil Very yummy. Both dishes were served with the most perfect, crusty garlic bread, with just the right amount of garlic and a touch of basil. There were little extras like lemon wedges with our iced water. Also, there was nice presentation in glossy, textured black dishes. The restaurant has a classy black and taupe decor. And they played a cool stream of Blues music. Nice!All the staff were warm and friendly with fast service too. We will definitely go back again, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether out for a night with friends, a family gathering, or a couples night out.

Dined in this lovely, quaint, and friendly restaurant for brunch yesterday with my family and devoured every delicious bite: amazing avocado toasts, choice chicken and waffles, and perfect prosciutto and arugula pizza. Their creamy cannoli and fabulous fratelli are delightful desserts. And thank you for the stupendous service! We will absolutely come back to That Place!
