Good food and service always a constant favor. Even back 25 yrs ago when she catered my wedding reception. Should be one of your go to Soul Food places

Nothing on the menu is just ok...the food is absolutely amazing! Best southern comfort food outside of the South. The sweet tea is almost worth the drive by itself. Sunday's menu varies slightly from Thurs-Sat, with dressing and oxtail available. The catfish, collard greens, mashed taters, and cornbread is my favorite meal, but you can't go wrong with the other menu options. Worth the drive no matter where you live!

Food is always made fresh and it is delicious! It's like eating at a relatives house every time! Definitely check out this amazing soul food restaurant

This place is nested in a strip mall on 107th and Hampton. You probably would never know it's there when driving by, or even walking past, but everything I've tried there is delicious. I love the soul food Sunday because they have turkey legs, and they're nice and moist and fork tender just the way I like it. Their sides are also flavored with turkey and not pork the way I prefer it. They don't add too much salt to their sides, again the way I prefer it, I believe you can always add more salt if you think it's bland but you can never take salt out if you think it's too salty. I don't do dessert too much but my wife likes the peach cobbler, she asked me to get her some every time I go. Not much of a staff but the few people they have there working are very nice and friendly. I try to go every Sunday if I can

It was good until I noticed I asked for extra gravy for my mashed potatoes and the container of gravy had hair in it

I have visited a few times... and hate to say always disappointing. This time I got oxtails with gravy and it had absolutely no taste except like meat no seasoning at all. The pork chop was good the dressing blah Im sure I may try again i late future But I will not get oxtails

Food was to salty, and processed . The ambience was nice, but the food was just too salty.

Horrendous service! The fact that I called before coming from the Southside to the Northside, and placed the order on the phone, and get there and leave without said ordered food is ridiculous! I was not only misinformed about a food being able to be prepared and put to the side for the order that I placed but to get to the restaurant wait another 20 minutes double check on my order and find out that they ran out of the food I ordered BEFORE I called and placed my order 30 minutes prior. Restaurant was very disorganized and for my first time visiting do not worry I will not be back!

Amazing fried chicken! Actually everything was amazing and we ordered almost everything in the Sunday menu. Was in the mood for comfort food & this was exactly what I needed. Meats were tender & juicy. Fried items were crisped to perfection. And the mac & cheese... OMG! . Will definitely be going back.

Everytime you call they place you on hold for several minutes. There needs to be a better solution to placing pick up orders without having to wait and wait to even speak with someone.
