Great orchard. Wonderful selection of apples. After reading the description you can taste the apple to make sure it is what you expected. They also have cider, hand pies, caramel apples(best around) and apple cider doughnuts ( they are the great!). Wonderful place! Very friendly and helpful staff!

Not the selection they used to have. The way it sounds it has been a rough start to the year for apples. There is a sign as you come in that says that samples from certain baskets are free so we helped ourselves. Then we found out that the apples in those baskets are a dollar each, the samples they were talking about had to be a slice from a man is using the same knife for everything and his hands/fingernails were dirty. Not sure we'll make the trip anymore.

What a fun trip to a hometown apple orchard.Greeted warmly and offered samples, asked questions, all to help us sample the apples that we would enjoy eating. Offered the chance to taste apple cider, pears, and honey before you purchase too, which is amazing and nice to ensure its what your looking for. Our mouth and tummy were enjoying the visit and we were pleasantly pleased with all the variety of apple we could purchase, to include some we've never heard of.We choose an apple called the Snow sweet, I think I am remembering the name right, but I liked because the skin wasn't thick and it was sweet and not bitter or to tart. My hubs was still a fan of the Honey Crisp. Lots to see and purchase from the family orchard; from apples, to pears, and honey right from their hives. Plus, they had pumpkins, squash, caramel apples, and various other crafts and baked goods.Last, was the option to go through a corn maze, so bring the kids for a whole family adventure on the farm.

Nothing but bags of Green Apples that were picked too soon. Nasty owner with dirty finger nails passing out samples of apples usng the same knife for all the apple samples instead of cleaning it off before using it to cut a different kind. Never cleaned the apples off before cutting them and passing out samples. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! He was rude to a few people and watched them like a hawk as if they were going to steal something. Doubt if we'll ever go back there, so overpriced and not worth the trip. Buyer beware.....

We just bought a bushel of mixed seconds to make applesauce and they were wonderful! Only one halfway bruised apple in the entire bushel. Had a mix of some of the most delicious apples - Shazuka (our favorite - forgive the spelling), Snow Sweet and Crimson Crest being the next most delicious. Added in some Granny SMiths and a few other varieties we couldn't identify (Cortland?) and we had the most delicious applesauce - we didn't even have to add sugar. Great place, friendly people, so worth the trip. We're going back this week for another bushel or two.

The first time I went I was impressed. A gentleman helped me pick out several types of apples. They were fresh and super tasty. Decided to get a doughnut as well and it was pretty good as well. Went back several weeks later. The lady who helped me was nice but the bag of apples she got for me, a mixture of several types, was disappointing. Found many were very bruised and getting soft once I got home. Decided to get 1/2 dozen of doughnuts as well plus 2 caramel apples. Doughnuts were old, very old. I ate part of one threw the other part away, gave one away and was told it was stale as well. Threw out the rest. At least the caramel a-pled were good. Felt like a waste of $47.
