A great margarita on a beautiful day! Berry salad was yummy, too. Salsa not so great-- bland & too smooth for my tastes.

Had a really nice time. Owner was friendly when greeting us and sat at the bar to have a drink before we sat at a table for our meal. They have really nice happy hour food menu. Everything is $6 from wings to nachos to a burrito. And $3 beer and $5 margaritas. I had the taco salad for dinner and could barely finish it. Everyone else had leftovers to take home.

I enjoyed brunch at Tello's. The Bloody Mary was excellent (with the perfect amount of spice for me). I'm not local, so the small side beer seemed odd, but actually went great with it. For my meal I ordered two eggs any style with wheat toast and hash browns. I got scrambled eggs with cheese - it all tasted great!

The service and food are always fantastic. I can not recommend the soup enough! It was so good and flavorful. I will probably get this every time. I brought some home for my wife to try!The Guadalajara and burrito were fantastic as well. The portions are very large! The reuben appetizer was good, but not necessary next time because of the large portions. I've never had a bad meal here.Thank you, Tello's staff! We will be back.

This restaurant has some really big and usually delicious dishes. I have been here before and it is pretty consistent. I got the chicken Tortilla soup to start. A+++++. Seriously, the best soup I have had that is not in Mexico. I got the taco salad as well. I would say B- It was ok. My mom got the Gyro plate and they are pretty delicious! Lots of feta! I think they should put the cucumber sauce on the side though. They dump it on top and it makes the stuff kind of mushy. I love homemade pitas, so this one was soggy on the bottom. C- Meat was ok. I got the raspberry margarita. VERY good. The taste was not too sugary. B+. They have a happy hour and they have them for $5.00 until 6 pm. I think they give the smaller glass to make up for the difference. Beer prices are only $3! I really like their chips and salsa as well. Service was ok. Attentive .....B+Ambiance.... Not the cleanest. Bathroom is not the best. Food ...B

Good food, good service, good margs. Love that the chips are served seasoned and warm along with salsa placement for everyone at the table. It's a little thing that goes a long way.

Oddball place that is a must-go in port Washington. We went for brunch, and we were delighted by the decor and murals painted all over the restaurant. Mostly Mexican style food with a few American and Greek options. The food we ordered was decent, a few items were not correct, but it was fine. I would still go back, especially to try lunch and dinner options.

Boring food and unfriendly service. We won't go again. We had the crabby server others had mentioned. There were four of us and no one finished or enjoyed their food.

If your in town stop in and visit, the food is always good. The staff is great and it's just a fun atmosphere. Some of our favorites are the saviche, the wings and the burritos. Rodrigo and Austin are absolutely the best bartenders/waiters. The entire staff is just wonderfully.

Tello's ( pronounced Tay-o's)is now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, daily at 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., and is my favorite breakfast place. From their omelettes to their pancakes to their breakfast skillets, their food is always excellent, and the service is matched. Their willingness to adapt to the needs of diners is remarkable as well. With busy friends who are retired, breakfast is our favorite social meal of the day, for we then have the rest of the day for other activities.Tello's involvement in community activities is notable. He supports Little League, and other activities, and was one of three major businesses who contributed to the Breakwater's painting during the pandemic, when they hung on by curb service and catering. I have heard that he throws pizza parties for kids. Be prepared whenever you dine here to take a "doggie" box home, which my dogs never get.The decor was designed and installed by a national artist, to reflect the Mexican countryside, and it is intriguing. This is a casual family place with excellent Mexican, Greek, and American food, and a children's menu is available, served with crayons. Tello's is handicapped accessible from the parking lot, and there is outdoor dining, weather permitting. A private dining room is available, and there is dining also in the bar. I am an almost weekly customer, and have never had a negative experience there. I recommend it.
