Ted's Ice Cream and Restaurant is not far off the route I've been using to go to and from work for years, but the lack of recent menu/food pictures on Yelp and other social media has made it difficult to determine if there's anything I wanted to stop and try. I finally took a chance, figuring I can be the one to provide the updated insight that I had been seeking from others. My to-go order consisted of a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and pancakes. Both the top of the Kaiser roll on the breakfast sandwich and two of the three pancakes were slightly overcooked. Not burned to the point that I wouldn't eat them, but it affected the taste to some degree. The pancakes were fine. Not much sweetness to them without using syrup. The roll to bacon, egg, and cheese ratio favored the Kaiser roll, which was a little disappointing. The roll itself seemed to be good quality, but I don't want the vessel for the egg, meat, and cheese to overpower the egg, meat, and cheese. Just down the street at Cranky Al's you can get a burrito that's stuffed with egg, meat, cheese, and potato and feel like you're getting much more value for your money.Ted's definitely seems to have a regular crowd. I got there seven minutes after they opened and there were already five gentleman, all spread out from each other, nursing cups of coffee. Two of them seem to be having a conversation, even with the distance between them, and the rest were all staring ahead silently. Kind of an awkward ambiance. The one employee that was working was manning both the customers and the food. He seemed nice enough. With the burritos at Cranky Al's and the fabulous breakfast sandwich at Gus' Deli both within a quick drive (or even a short walk in the case of Cranky Al's) from Ted's, I don't foresee stopping again. If you're a nostalgic about an old-fashioned diner experience, that's Ted's wheelhouse.

The establishment is cute and the prices are low. But, you're getting what you pay for. The food is bland and the burger my husband got was overcooked and hard. We were not greeted when we entered and felt rushed to eat and leave. Most places will offer water right away but I had to ask for it. Our waitress only checked in to take our order, give us our order, and again to give us the bill. We haven't been back here in years and the quality has drastically declined. It's safe to say we will not return again.

Something about a mom & pop place that service classic breakfasts that just hit the spot differently. Maybe you're looking for a spot to rejuvenate you in the morning after a fun night out or your just looking for a classic breakfast look not further. You'll be transported into the past with a classic dinner vibe. Order a black coffee, the Ted's Breakfast which is delicious eggs Benedict with ham and crispy hash browns and see how your tasted thank you.

Ok I know these are pictures from just the inside but I love the inside so much!! Yeah I know the food is something average that you can find at any diner but the inside is what would make me want to come back. I don't know if I've watched too many 1950s/1960s TV shows or what but something about this inside. But the hamburger and milkshake was actually pretty good! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

Ted's is a great throwback diner spot that takes you back to simpler and friendlier times. We went to Ted's for breakfast, and it was a welcomed experience. You walk in the unassuming diner to find a large counter and a few tables. We sat at the counter, and were quickly served our coffee and a few menus. There are local regulars sporadically spread around the counter reading the morning paper and having a well-oiled banter with the waitress. It is one of those places that screams vintage 1950s, and the service supports that feeling. The coffee was hot, our cups were never empty, and the prices were great. We ordered breakfast, and were happy with everything. From the omelettes to the hash browns, everything was cooked well and came out fast. If you want an old-time breakfast experience with friendly staff, good food, and reasonable prices, check out Ted's.

Huge disappointment! My bf and i came for breakfast and there was a steady flow of people coming in and getting served. My bf ordered eggs toast and i had put a order in for waffles.. we waited a while and my bf got his food first and i didn't so i figured it'd come out a few minutes.. well to my surprise the waitress comes and tells me they ran out of waffle mix!! And that if i wanted to wait it would be an additional 20 minutes what a joke and my bf already finished his food so i ordered pancakes which were a fail anyways. Just falling apart. The waitress never came back to refill my coffee she gave a mediocre apology and we were just ignored and still paid our full bill even though we were there for over an hour waiting for simple breakfast diner food! Terrible service here.

Visiting this place is like going back in time to a 60's dinner, from the ambiance to the more than reasonable prices. I love going there on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Everything is homemade and beyond tasty. Parking is a little problematic, but worth the effort. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has an open air kitchen and it's fun to watch them prepare the food. Great place for ice cream, as well.
